Not free, but since I'm looking for free.
I'm looking at replacing wire rope with synthetic. Found a company in Edmonton with 3/8" in 100'
lengths, double loops and winch replacements. Have friend looking at some company in N Van too.
I usually carry one and sometimes two loops of 150' of extra wire when I travel up north. You can imagine
the pain it is to carry, store and deal with. So I'm looking at 2-3 100' extras in synthetic.
I might replace the wire on the front winch, save about 20lbs I figure, maybe more.
Not sure if anyone else is interested in synthetic or not?
EDIT: cdnrope.com is certified, so it's $210 for 100' of 5/16" and $300 for 100' of 3/8"

I recently came across one that’s better, lighter, longer fall and thought I would pass this one on. Works for me always got the job done but annoying to use. I’m used to using chain falls.
