Okay here is the deal. Two toyota FJ40 landcruisers for sale. I bought both of these with the intent on fixing one up and using the other for parts. I have no time now and it is a waste just having them both sitting around. I don't have titles to either one. I have had them checked through DMV and they are not stolen. Neither one of them is in running condition. WIll post photos later. 505-263-9323 1300 or best offer.

I wish I had the room to store these, I haven't seen them, but i'm guessing they would be worth it, just for parts.

Okay here is the deal. Two toyota FJ40 landcruisers for sale. I bought both of these with the intent on fixing one up and using the other for parts. I have no time now and it is a waste just having them both sitting around. I don't have titles to either one. I have had them checked through DMV and THEY ARE NOT STOLEN I have the certified VIN inspector paperwork that shows that the vehicles are eligible to apply for bonded titles ON BOTH VEHICLES. Neither one of them is in running condition.(SEE PRIOR POSTINGS FOR PHOTOS) The 1964 is the one in the top photos and is the most complete it has the 1F motor but a good possibility that it is seized. It is the one that I planned on fixing and using the other for the parts vehicle. The 64 has a full set of 5 tires 31x10.50 in excellent condition and it has the Warn locking hubs on the front. The drivers side rear brake drum is rusted to brake shoe on the 64. $800 firm for both. The vehicles can be seen one mile west of moriarty on the south side of the interstate. 505-263-9323

Deja vu. Looks like he lowered the price a bit.

There's an 86 fj60 listed at Welcome to Santa Fe Mazda Volvo Santa Fe, NM. 195k, $4k, some rust on rear DS rocker.

Has anyone seen this LC in person? I'm wondering how bad the rust is on the left rear rocker panel. The pic on their website isn't super high-detail.

Is there a way to tell which engine it has, assuming it's a stock '86 FJ60 w/ manual tranny?

At face value, is $3,995 a reasonable asking price for this LC? I'm casually looking for an FJ60/62 and would like to find one which doesn't require a lot of work to get it functional, but also isn't too pricey.

Thanks.

W/out seeing the rig, they are asking TOO much, due to rust. I'd go eyeball it and give 'em a low offer, see what they'll settle for.

FWIW I paid $3k in 2001 for my 84 w/240k on the dial, tiny rust spots over rear fenders.

I'm looking for a 6 spoke wheel to replace a bent one. It may be a stock Toyota wheel, I'm not sure. I don't care what color as I will paint it anyway. Does anybody recognize it? Better yet, does anybody have a spare one they want to get rid of? Actually it's a 15x8 so I don't think it's stock Toyota - or is it?

that's a "white spoke wagon wheel". i believe i have a couple in the garage. 15x8 with the correct back space for a cruiser. and maybe a couple with the 4" BS.

If that is all it is, I have four I need to get rid of. They were on the 40. Let me know how many you want.

Aren't the stock ones from a 40 15x6.5?

Pig(s) for Sale

Hi everyone. A friend of mine is going to be selling his FJ-55. I can't tell you much but the basics, 1974, original 2F, brand new AT tires. It has minor to moderate rust in the usual places - a paint and body guy offered to do everything for $2500. The interior is good shape for a pig that old, which is to say its in okay shape.

He's asking $2800. He's giving me a CD of pics later in the week that I can post or email to anyone interested. He just wanted to give first crack at it to the local folk.

On another note, I'm parting out my '70 FJ55 (see post - https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj55-classifieds-corner/201563-sadly-selling-my-55-parts.html) as well as an '86 FJ60.

If anyone is interested, please email me at mhsimonds@comcast.net. I'll Get pics up as soon as I can.

New today at the U-Pull ... 1982 FJ60. Sorry, but I didn't look very hard at this. Interior was mismatched with blue seats, carpet, etc, but with a brown dash. Steering column was trash. Front fenders looked OK. Doors might have been ok. Color was tan, IIRC. Front bumper and grill are trash. Has chrome FJ62 mirrors. Tailgate there, but I don't think it had the lift gate. Original wheels are in the back. Missing: alternator, starter, dizzy, coil/igniter, side cover, thermostat cover, brake backing plates, AISIN hubs. The rest of the knuckle stuff was there. Manifolds and carb were there. I did score the bottle jack, but no tools.

I talked with one of the guys in the yard. He told me the other boneyards in town are not happy with U-Pull. Geez, wonder why?

New today at the U-Pull ... 1982 FJ60.

What's the name of this yard or what is the address.

I called U Pull & Pay (also listed as Super U Pull) at 248-9899, 4560 Broadway, and they claim they don't have any Toyota Land Cruisers from '81 - '87. Is it at a different yard? Did I talk to an idiot on the phone? Has it not been updated in their computer? Did they already squish it? I thought I'd go check it out on Friday. How much do you have to pay to enter the yard?

May not have been in the computer yet. It was dropped in the yard on Monday. Yes, it's at the U-Pull, about row 11 or 12. Entrance fee is $2. I'll be going back when they open on Saturday. I've noticed several times trucks in the yard that are not in the computer. I think it takes a day or two for that to happen, which is good if you know a spy.

Thank you Mr. Spy.

Have you ever printed out the price list from the web and found inconsistencies in their pricing? Do you just take what you want and not worry about the price because it's so low?

I have not noticed any inconsistencies lately. I've had them mis-id a part or two, but it didn't make any difference. A few months ago they were charging twice the listed price on the website, but that has been fixed. Probably killed business. They raised the entrance fee instead and with all the people that pour into the place they probably pay for all their staff just with that.

Steve,

Did you ever find these wheels? The ones on the FJ60 looked just like them only chrome.

Not yet. Were they six spokes or 8?
