The fuel tank of my track car has a cup around the pick up, I figure being off camber or on an incline would be similar to braking or cornering on a track, if not worse as the direction change may take longer.
Right, that’s my concern as well - a long climb or being stopped on an incline for any amount of time with 1/4 tank (nearly 10 gallons). Maybe not a huge deal![]()
That is why I have the hydramat now. Your tank isn't completely flat but probably not angled enough to always have fuel.

That big flat bottom with a single pickup somewhere around the middle will run you out of fuel on a long climb and 1/4 tank of fuel, I redid my tank after my first outing. That is why I have the hydramat now.

It was a fairly new product when I looked at it and the big “Not for use with diesel fuels” warnings at the bottom had concerned me at the time so I went with three Walbro pickups.J Mack, did you redo the tank or just add the hydromat?
I noted this for you already on your thread, silly.03 with DBW. Does it have a fuel return? It sounds like you got a late 2003 so it has the bigger cam bearings. Bigger outside diameter but the same inside to receive any cam. Do yourself a favor and just rebuild it. I didnt plan on doing it in the beginning but I feel better now that I did.
Is it a pump or box?I noted this for you already on your thread, silly.
Cam pulley?
