What’s funny is that I have one of their old boxes from 15 - 20 years ago that had a front axle rebuild kit. I think it came from Man-A-Fre. Still has some leftovers in it...
Maybe if they weren't over $300AUD a pop I could.. but i've got other stuff to spend that $$ on..

So here’s the latest redneck mid-spring brainstorm -
Small parts paint booth. Tent was free.

Added 3 more colors to the paint arsenal yesterday.

Be careful spraying flammable liquid in a small flammable enclosed space without an explosion proof fan.

I’d like to see your pig finished and not help your widow sell the parts to send your kids to college.
Good advice, that is going to get saturated air real fast, maybe try to blow in or?

Actually it may be hard to see in there, just thinking about how quick my last “paint booth” got hazy inside...

Plenty of ventilation through the tent. Will proceed with caution...
Redneck or Hillbilly engineering is awesome! The last batch of small parts I sprayed on the side of the house hanging from a closet rod and cut up wire hangers ended up with a nice coating of fine desert sand on them. I could have used the tent idea.

Wow, helluva stout hitch! I have one almost that strong that'll be available once my planned new rear bumper is done if anyone's interested.
Interesting tent idea. I'm usually using bent coat hangers hooked to the rails on the overhead garage door to paint my small parts.
Stay safe....

So far, so good👍
Very little if any in the way of fogging.

The explosion-proof fan would be great - will look to get one when the time comes to lay paint on the body.

The high is kept to a minimum with the organic vapor respirator.😕😜

Can’t wait to get that rear x-member/receiver bolted in for good!

Yeah, lotta time with a pneumatic die grinder with a knotted wire brush. Tough to get into all those nooks that the ribbing make. Sandblasting would be ideal if the innards were completely removed.

Yeah I was pretty tame even with wire wheel as I didn’t want to get grit inside. Yours is coming out great 😎
