what's your plan for AC? Will you use the Merc AC compressor or reuse the cruiser AC compressor somehow? I definitely need AC in Texas but have until about May to figure it out!

I’m going to redo the whole a/c system with all new, modern components from Cold Hose - https://coldhose.com/ minus the evap core. I was planning to use the Mercedes compressor but I’m having a tough time finding the right manifold adapters for it. I’ve read that an fzj80 comp will fit the 606 bracket and I’ve found a bosch and a denso model that each have the proper clutch and pulley, should fit the 606 bracket and there are existing manifold adapters for them. Crossing that bridge when I get there.

What is your plan for throttle cable linkage? I was looking at the DPUK linkage kit but curious what others are doing?
I’ll be test fitting and making motor and transmission mounts this coming weekend. I’ll likely start my own build thread as well but just trying to get ideas of what others are doing. Thanks

Thanks! Looks like a good option. Wish I would’ve been thinking about throttle stuff as I just recieved a big order from DPUK and shipping and tariffs suck! Would’ve been nice to add to my order!

I bought the DPUK kit and the fuel pre heater plate with the mounting tab for the cable. Modified my pedal to accept a cable and used some fj62 pedal parts to make it all work and add an oem hand throttle. Deets are in my build thread.
