Progress on the motor swap is move pretty fast just a have few things left like new fuel lines a little wiring and modifying the drivelines.

Does anyone know where I can source longer brake cables and speedo cables?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry scrapdaddy

Started working on the body work again, it appears that where I live, body shops are not so happy to do the body work so having to do it my self. This whole Journey with the pig has been an up hill battle. So once I have completed the body work and disc brake conversion I will be selling the pig. It will be sad but at least I have got time to spend working and learning on this old girl.
So to help sell the rig would a spring over swap be a good idea or more money I won't get out of it, oh and also upgrading to power steering while I am at it. I am wondering this because I will have the front axle almost all the way tore down for the disc conversion.

Personally I wouldn't mess with the spring over, you have enough to do on the body. Let the next guy do what he wants with it.

That's some good body work!

x2. If you think you are going to sell it, don't spend more time and $ on a mod that takes it further from stock that the next owner may or may not want.
Most people would prefer less rust on their Pigs, probably 50/50 want SOA.

Here are some pics of the engine install sorry it's taken this long. A little messy at the moment pulled the battery for welding and storage also changing some wires out.

So I need Help!!! Well I think I ruined the voltage regulator, Would explain why I had so many problems with the old motor is the previous owner liked to cut the factory connection off and wire in butt connectors. So does anyone know which wires connect to where on the back of the alternator. All the wiring diagrams don't show the colors of which wire goes where. Why I didn't have a problem before was the old alternator didn't work, Got a new one and wired it in and well now my battery is charging but the voltage is not regulated so going to order a new voltage regulator but before I do just want to get things wired up right.

Found the problem and got it working. Driving the truck around without fear of stopping, this little pig is starting to grow on me again.

Well went out and started the truck (NOTHING) didn't figure it out not sure why this is this truck is a wiring nightmare, as soon as i think i have it fixed it quits. So in your guys experience what would be the best to figure this stuff out?
