BLIZZARD OF 78

Top 1 is rte 128 in mass. Was the day after Blizzard of 78. Was looking for that last week.

Looks nothing like the 128 of today. Now it's all corporate HQ's, medical centers and town houses as far as the eye can see!

No doubt! Worked there in early 80s at GTE in Needham by the Coca Cola plant. With I believe channel 5 across the highway. Some fond mems except commute

Does anyone have pictures from back in the day? To get started, this is me in front of my Dad's '75. Picture was taken in August of 1977. The 'cruiser had burbank springs, 32 inch Tru-Tracs on White spokers, Downey header, Holley carb and a Warn winch. My Dad used to take me on club runs in a car seat! I'd love to find this rig again. Hopefully it's aged better than I have!

I bought this one about a year ago I think I remember that it was from 77. I probably paid too much.

I have one in blue I got at Downey Toyota back in 1974. Picked up a Man-A-Fre and Hickey catalogs at the same time.

Land Rover used to offer a double roof for some of their safari trucks in Africa back in the day.
