Figured I'd post a few sneak peek shots I just got from Lance's shop at Iron Pig Off Road.

The 80 build project is almost complete!! :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce: :bounce2:

Thanks JP! Yeah, I am jazzed to get her back. Lance has been great to work with.

Hopefully by the Uwharrie ride and if not, definitely for MLK '07!! :D

Thanks guys!

LOL, good idea Jim. I've done that with my black 97. Though the pics don't show it well, this one is the dark green color. Probably more fitting for a Miami tailgate. :D

Plus, for this season anyway, I am enough of an attention getter on my own. :grinpimp:

I will tell Lance you said hello. I'll speak with him again later this week.

I call shotty for MLK, that way I can talk some bball smack and enjoy the plush interior.

Gun is yours if you want it, should be fun. Your only competition would be JP's dad and since the 80 doesn't have heated seats like the 100, it should be yours. :D

Unfortunately I won't be able to talk much hoops smack about this year's WF team though - we have 16 kids on the roster and 14 are freshmen or sophomores. The 2 seniors we have include a walk on and a timid center.

We struggled to beat Div II North Carolina Central tonight in an exhibition, 68-60.

Ugh, it is going to be a long, long year. :crybaby:

I want the stats on the rig...nic pics :)

Thanks, I can't wait to get her home. I'll be able to take and post better pics then. I want to do a before and after post from similar angles since I took a bunch before dropping her off back in May.

As far as stats go, let's just say she'll be able to hang with Avocado! ;)

Thanks man. Kind of funny, I was poking around the 80 tech section and was reading a thread I had somehow overlooked. Turns out Jason (jfz80) and Alex (concretejungle) went up to IPOR to get skid plates and get them mounted and took a few shots of my 80 in the daylight. LOL, they've seen more of it than I have!!! :D

Thanks again for all of the positive words guys. This is kind of the result of trying to build the ideal wheeling rig - to me anyway. LOL. :D

Stats aren't extreme, just a basic 80 with some mods.

It's a 97 with 110K on the ODO. I was going to build the 97 I already had but without OEM lockers, the project was more $$ since I was going ARB's f/r and while in there, why not 5.29's.

While I was talking to Lance about scheduling the drop off, I found this 97 about a block from my house with OEM lockers f,c,r.

So I lose on out on the gearing for now but that along with some other things are still in the plans down the road.

Stats:

Diffs: OEM Locked f,c,r
Lift: J spings, L shocks
Tires: Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Bias Ply 35x13.50-16 (true 35 inch tire)
Safari Snorkel
ARB winch bar
Warn M12000 winch
IPOR Skid Plate
Ken Hanna Sliders
Slee Rear Bumper w/Tire / Hi Lift Carrier
Dual Battery Set Up, IPOR Kit, Optima Red and Yellow Top
In-Dash Single DIN Digital CB routed through 80 speakers
In-Dash Single DIN XM Radio, MP3/CD Player
IPF 630 Lights Front
IPF Back Up Light Rear
4 35 Watt Rock Lights Underneath
Black Powdercoated Wheels

I think that's it. Once I get her home I have the sad reality of cleaning up 1 or 2 of the other cruisers and selling them to another cruiser enthusiast to make room in the driveway.

seeing the pics of your 80 makes me want one even more than i already did.... nice looking truck!

AWESOME rig Andy!
