Replaced rear rubber brake line and that fixed the left rear locking issue. Found a sniper on marketplace new in box for almost half price. I wont be rebuilding that carb again!

If you’re doing your toe-in here, I believe the goal is to approximate your tire diameter.
 
Makes sense. This did get me close enough. Measured after the test drive and toe is good.
Seems pretty far from an exact science in any case.
Like many things on a 40.
I made a set out of angle aluminum that bolt on to my lugs and are about the length of the tire diameter at the measurement points.

Copied it from the spendy ones I saw online 🤷🏽.
 
A beer running machine. I have been through 3 tanks of gas now and everything is pretty good. Shifting into 3rd gear grinds pretty consistently. If I wait a while it wont do it. I think the synco needs to be replaced. Other than that I really enjoy the rig like it is. Its not a long trip rig, but for around town perfect. Steering is easy with the skinny tires and the drum brakes stop good which I was a bit surprised by. I’ll run it this summer and then see what I want to do to it this winter.

Saw this today after a cruise. This rig still fighting. I got hinge off one hole needs to be re tapped. One hinge cracked trying to get pin out. Looking for some used ones, but could repair if needed.
