Glove box finds.
I guess the Celica book is from the donor car for the motor since RE's weren't options 'til 1984 in trucks I think? Or were they not around in anything before the mid 80's?

Got a fresh battery in it today and it started right up with just a little choke. Gas is at least 7 years old probably closer to 8. All the gauges and all of the lights on the dash and everywhere else work with the exception of the hvac control panel and three of the four side marker lights. This thing is remarkably original except for the paint and the interior suffering from being a daily driver for a 25 years. Did find some floor board rot on the passenger side from a leaky window gasket but it won't be too bad for Devin to cut out. Also scored two more mini trucks to get interior parts off of.

New wheels and tires, drained the fuel, top off the diffs and tcase, and checked the tyranny fluid. It was a bit runny so I'll drain and refill it. Pit new gas in and drove it a little. It'll do 60 on the access road.

Pulled the valve cover and ran the valves this evening. Pretty clean for a 33 year old engine. Engine seems to be original with the double row timing chain.

Yeah that too. Im still learning model year stuff but would prefer the 22r.

Not concerned with solid axle as this wont be a trail rig. Prefer a trailer queen.
