Where do you source your brake components (rotors/calipers/lines)? My 1969 has this later model disc brake set up

Fronts I get at Napa. Rear I get the TSM kits from Valley Hybrids.

Back on this thing tomorrow. Had to work a local project in.

Your builds are always top-notch. Do you run the relays and upgraded harness from Toyota on the H4s or just go with the stock harness?

I run the harness. It’s easy to use. Why not.

Back at it!

TSM rear brakes come with a full set of stainless lines for the rear.

The front come from Georg at Valley Hybrids with his backing plate eliminator.

New OEM rubber hoses. Had to make one line.

This intake and exhaust were both a total mess. Intake was cracked in 2 spots. Exhaust was heavily pitted.

I picked up a couple of clean pieces. Glued it all in with a Remflex exhaust gasket kit.

Looking fantastic like all your builds.
A question on the bolt flip kits you install, do you paint the u bolts before installing them? No problems with the threads getting gummed up?

I paint it all after it’s in place.

Brakes. Done. No leaks.

Moving along.

I have the same bleeder but with a threaded end for my 1970 BMW, works great... are you using the Motive attachment with the chain on it, or something different? I would LOVE to find an attachment that works with the Toyota reservoirs and not have to bug someone else in the house to help!

I installed a U bolt flip kit without painting. They are now rusty.
Is rust converter then paint the remedy?

Don't have the kit number in front of me, but motive industries do have a cap for foreign cars that fits Toyota reservoirs.

This one fits clutch and 80 series tops. I have to use the chain thing for 60 series
