Cool find! Thats amazing that it was a work truck and it has all the jack parts, Koito head lights and all the usual missing goodies. Are those the original seat belts also?
Have you looked into soda blasting? I have read that you can strip layer by layer, and you wouldn't have to remove much (glass/rubber) to do it.
Congrats!

Nice!!!

Quite a find....you have a knack for this!!
That PTO shifter boot is the same part we got on the transfer shifter for the 3 speed floor shift 40/45s.

Tailgate fits pretty good, anyone have a ratty one they want to sell? Don't want to use my mint repro! Took some measurements and bedsides would skin this bed almost perfect? Hmmm?

Starting the not so fun part of degreasing 50 years of dirt and oil build up. Rebuilding all the brakes, staying 4 wheel drum, have disk axles, but really want to keep as original as possible, and the brakes have been working since 1967 so why not leave it original. Note the original blue paint on the fender support! West coast 45's sure survive out here, 50 year old wheel well and still retains original paint! Also, the brake line spring retainer still doing its job!

I didn't think they were factory until I started to see them on numerous 45's over the years.

Very cool Brian. The hanger clips on the hoses were standard issue for the early rigs. I saved a stack of the old hoses to take the clips off of...some day.

53.5 ;)
