I was wondering how long it would be until someone posted this. I thought the same thing when I posted.Dumbest thing the PO did with my 60 was to sell it to me!

Droped over 10K into a rebuilt engine, rebuilt head, complete front end rebuild, redone cooling system (rad, WP, hoses, etc), new carb, new clutch, all new brakes, new brake booster and then under 7000 Miles later sell it for less then 1/2 of that with all of the receipts.
Why, because he wanted a truck?!?

I got it...he's got some more horrors in other videos that match what's been shared so far, but I'd say this here takes the cake.

Not the dumbest thing but rather the sneakiest thing. Broken hub cover bolt so they just RTV'd the bolt head over the broken bolt. I just found it yesterday during brake inspection. Minor thing, but an obvious attempt to hide it.

Turbo welded directly to flipped manifold and 3/8 hose with regular hose clamps for oil feed soldered copper pipe for the heater hoses. But what can i say all of it is still in service! So could have been worse although i did re weld the turbo with special rods because it was cracked most of the way around!!
Good lord its amazing how in tune we all are with each other! I was literally thinking this about the date this was begun! Maybe not the dumbest but def not the wisest, maybe just what they knew to do at the time.... PO had a garage put the HB back on without a key (the keyway was a buggered wreck) and spot weld the nut onto the HB.
Lets patch an oil pan leak harry. Ok loyd says.
