While my wife and I are buying a house in Tennessee, we left our dog, Lela at a "doggy play place" called "Unleashed". Lela is a rescue, with aggression issues, and they are helping us slowly habituate her so she gets along with both other dogs and people.

They just sent us this picture, which seems to indicate their efforts are succeeding.

One thing, though; Lela's mouth is freakishly large. And she can unfold her jowls like she is some space alien.

One of our rescues had issues when we first got him. Took about a year for him to really settle in to his true personality around people. Now all he wants is human attention and belly scratches. Lots of training and love and it's amazing how they turn around. Kudos to you guys for taking on the challenge
