No issues. It’s definitely not a problem. I’m actually on lunch from the install now. I’ll post up some pictures when it’s done! I have zero regrets about it.

Done. Not so bad install.

+1

Also does anyone have a photo of the "LC" style bull bar on an LX? I like it a lot more. I scrolled through the thread but it's very long thanks in advance.
It doesn’t work with the LX hood.

Mine got installed last weekend. Install wasn't that bad, but it was 110 degrees out so @Somebodyelse5 and I had to repeat a few steps, most likely because of heat exhaustion  Really tho, the PDF install instructions helped and its all you need, but if the next time Ben installed one he took some new pics and wrote it up, it probably would have cut an hour off our time. All in all not a big deal and I think the complaints are overblown. The rear is definitely more complicated but for some reason went smoother for us, haha.

Thats my 2 cents.... and I doubt its even worth that.

Thanks again to @Somebodyelse5. This install is a 2 person job, and I couldn't have done it without him!

Also, thanks to @ibrahim83. I mounted my Smittybilt controller just like you did, and even though I wasnt really sure if it was going to work (so I stared at it for a while), I trusted that you had done it and that was good enough for me, haha!

Some mid install pics to add! Note the washers under the head of the socket head cap screws... those should be under the NUT with no washer under the head. Comming from aerospace, that makes me very sad. Also note, half of @Roosevelt T 's head!

Yeah, those bolts did not make @Somebodyelse5 happy. Ben said they are just for alignment so its no big deal, but I feel his pain. If they were a little longer we could use a washer on the back side, and also we didnt realize that a washer couldnt be used on the front until after we buttoned it up.

Wow! That looks great!

@Roosevelt T Two person job, how so? It's modular.
Yeah.... So, if this comes off passive aggressive, I promise I do not mean it that way, but have you installed one?

I guess you could figure out a way to do it yourself. But having more than 2 hands was huge, and I didnt want to deal with tackling it alone.

Yeah it’s a full LX bar, but I don’t understand, what’s not to like?

Thanks man, I'm really happy with how it looks. It honestly surpassed my expectations.

Yeah you could install it yourself but it’s much easier with someone else to help you. It’s not difficult at all. Minus cutting off that bracket it’s all pretty much bolt on, but the main part that bolts onto the vehicle is a touch heavy and it’s definitely easier to have someone help you shimmy it into position.

Different strokes for different folks.

Has anyone hit anything with their bumper? I'm in the process of planning out a build but am hesitant on the bolt together design.

I think there is someone further back that hit a tree and it looked like it held up very well. I ended up buying $100+ of 12.9 grade bolts once I got the bumper to upgrade that as I was worried about the same.

Yeah, I remember this too. It held up great. And Ben recently hit something with his 200 series (it was on IG).

I'm not concerned at all.
