Looking for a bike rack solution. I emailed Cole about a possible receiver hitch retrofit that they offer on the other panel types:

But no bueno. Instead of doing the swing away hitch I’m going to try a Yakima spare ride:

This will of course be offset due to the spare but I don’t think it’s going to be enough to worry about. My spare tire is on the inner most mounting point so it’s as centered as it can get.

I'm kinda wishing I had gotten the other Dissent swing out w/the 2" hitch and jerry can holder. I haven't installed the accessory swing as I'm not sure what to put on it. I can put my treads on the roof, High lift on either spare or roof rack. Just wishing I had made a different choice I think.

Wow .. This curt wire converter should be included with the ARB USA-version of the rear bumper. If you hook the ARB rear bumper up as instructed the bumper lights only work correctly when the head lights are on and it's up to the installer to figure out all the wires. This curt thing makes it way easier!

Some minor details on the bulb trim:
If you cut it square (straight), your trim will sit short due to the thickness of the plastic.

Spend a few extra minutes to notch the back side and then contour the final cut…

For your plastic cuts: Measure the bulb section of your trim and add 1/8” to that measurement. You want 1/16-1/8” gap from the trim to the bumper. The trim will wear through the powder coat if it is touching.

Curious to know your preferred cut tool? Angle grinder or Dremel or ???
But used painters tape to both draw on and keep from chipping?

I used this technique and it turned out pretty well. The bulb measured 0.50 inches, so I used a 1/2" piece of scrap aluminum angle, marked the line with a sharpie, and "took the line" when I cut. It gave me ~0.60 of gap, so there isn't rubbing and I see an air gap. It might be not quite enough, but I can always cut more later.

Have others with a dissent resr bumper noticed any contact with the lower tailgate? I saw a line in the road dust, so I cleaned it up and put a strip of blue painters tape to see if I could replicate it. I've been in and out a lot, installing a fridge slide, so probably more use than would be...

@benc, as I was retightening all my bolts I was looking for torque values. There are some values provided in this thread but some of the descriptions do not make sense to me. Do you have a torque value table with descriptions?

Not sure what year Lexus changed the rear parking sensor size (2016 or 2018), but there is a trick to install the rear parking sensors into the dissent rear bumper

Sure. If the bumper is not already installed. I wish I had thought to do something like this before installing. Drillping out the holes with a step bit from the back face after installatoon does not work so well. But great post for pre install.

What bolts and nuts are you guys using for the trailer harness? There are two 1/4-20 flatheads but no included nuts for them.

EDIT: D'oh right after sending the question I found the included bracket.
