The vinyl arrived and I have to say it is a much better fit right out of the box than the previous product. The mold seems much crisper in the riser areas and through the transmission tunnel.

In the pic there isn't a tunnel cover so its dropping in the hole and the console pedestals are keeping it from laying down there as well. I'll be ordering more of these for stock very soon.

I know you have a ton of projects. BUT ... a more legit center console, like above, would be much needed in the 60 world. The Tuffy just doesn't do our trucks any justice.

Well this one is a full length console from dash to back seat. Not too many people would be interested in this design. @mmw68 Cruisercrap has a nice console for the 60.

Stainless battery trays and the remaining locker arrived.

Well it's looking like the body may go 80 series now.... The core body is about the only thing that doesn't need much work on the 60 idea. NEEDED-- 2 doors, both fenders, dash frame and misc other internals, twisted hood, rust repair needed in a few floor pan areas, rocker panels need rebuilt..

My 80 donor needs a DS door, which I already have a good matching replacement for.

RAH.... I'm gonna have to think on this one a bit. Plus no frame cutting.

Help me get into a 100 and you can HAVE Chunk, although I don't think that gets you any closer ;)

I see 100s here for sale all the time 5500-15000.00

The more I look at the 60 the more work I see. Don't get me wrong, you know I love the 60, but maybe not the right time for another 60 build.

Time will tell. But before you get too excited, the frame stretch, canopy build and associated paint and body work is approx. 30-40K. That price does NOT include the powertrain, suspension, interior, or canopy internals, electrical/battery management, RTT etc.... If anything, I might offer a frame extension kit and the canopy box itself if things go as planned. Not to mention buying two cruisers or at least an extra 80 donor frame.

Right now with many details still to figure out, the potential customer and I are at 70K on this build. Lots of details and custom work. His budget is around the 75-80K mark. So, we'll see what happens, until the check cashes....It's still mine and I will proceed buying things that I want for the build.

I tell people $100k and it goes up or down from there depending on how they want it built. If I was to build it my way, $100k is a pretty legit number. It is not hard to hit that when you get wild in builds. Just a built up bling diesel can run ya $25k. Get a lot of engine for that though!

Cheers

Received the T/C rebuild kit from @orangefj45 this morning. Nice kit with all quality components, but I expected nothing less from Georg. His products and service have been spot on for me for the past 7 years.

Yes, this is a BUMP for him, if there was any doubt.
