With my rib injury I'm on extreme light duty. So, a good time to catch up on what seems like my never ending to-do list.

Getting the door cards reversed for aluminum. These will be available in aluminum and ABS soon on the website. By the end of next week I should have all panels for the 60 ans 62 finalized. I'll cut all the aluminum and my neighbor that builds custom concert speaker boxes will make all the ABS. He has a vacuum CNC router table and that way I don't have to convert my plasma over to router.

MORE TO COME!

60 front panel. I need to get the map pocket holes plotted and play with the speaker slot design. Most guys will cut this out and install 6.25s over the factory 5.25s.

60 rear panel

Early and Late PS and Early DS

This will be a very welcomed upgrade! Any idea on pricing?

Which hood do you like more, the Optrel or the BH3? I have been running my BH3 for coming up on 3 years now and looove it.

The Crystal is now what the BH3 was 3-4 years ago, top of the line and far advanced. "Crystal" is a perfect term for the visibility it produces. I really like the Crystal and the BH3 is a close second for me now. I've had my BH3 for about 4 years and it has never failed me and I still use it daily.

I prefer the Crystal for tig. Mainly because it's lighter and I can weld a good 6-8 hours without any fatigue at all. Can't weld near that long with the BH3.

Crystal 1# 2.8oz
BH3 2# 1.6oz

Neat, I'll have to see if I can get my hands on one to test out. And agreed on the weight, I spent a good portion of 2017 and 18 in a production environment (hood down all day) and I could definitely feel the weight of the Jackson on my neck towards the end of a 8-10 hour day.

Go to your local welding supply and see if they have a demo unit you can rent or try out in their shop. Most will do this.

Should be around the 450.00 mark for a set of 7 panels in ABS. Aluminum bare metal around the 750.00 mark for 7 panels.

Will we be able to just buy the rear panels? or only as a complete set. Some of us got the cards out of AU and have no rear panels.
And get better, rib injuries suck, been there a few times.

Stupid question ... Will these work on the 62? It's been so long since I had a 60 that I can't even envision the panels.

They will once I get to those designs... HA

I like your style. I'll be honest ... Have been considering getting panels redone, but would prefer to have this over fabric that is just going to get wrecked again in a few years. Well done sir.

Sometime next week I'll get back to Dingo. With my current injury its a slow healing process and I've got a couple of guys to come in during the week and on weekends to help me when needed on heavier lifting.

So back to the suspension and body mounts. Got the new body bushings this week and now I can design the mounts for a proper fit.
