I remember those days! My kids are teenagers now, but when they were little I dragged them around in an almost identical trailer behind the Surly Long Haul Trucker I had at the time. Having a trailer opens up lots of fun with the kids, enjoy!Dad bike fully engaged

Took daughter for her first proper speed ride in the trailer today as she now has her helmet
We've got 1 km of dirt road to play on so we went to the end and back to just get a feel for it. She's been in the trailer loads as a stroller, and just climbs in it given half a chance when she's outside, so she's quite familiar with it

For how I use the bike (cross country and mostly uphills) it’s perfect. The 29s works pretty well for the type of terrain I ride on. I agree the 27.5 and 26 is built for speed while the 29 is more in ease scaling obstacles.@OEMGUY0720
How do you like the Crank Bros. wheel set? I had two pair of 26ers that were really fast on my New England Terrain. I had only two complaints, one was a funky drive shell that left me stranded in the woods, and the other was "fatigue" on the tabs attached to the rim. Covered under warranty, but still annoying.
In fact, that's what kept me from buying 29er wheels for my current bike. But, they were really fast. Quicker spin up than my carbon rims now.
Damn, that's a lot of vertical for a single speed.Little bit of all the conditions up near the sierra crest but I'll take a nice singlespeed rip in late November when I can get it! 15 miles with 2k climbing![]()
