Well, that makes things easy. And I’ve already kind of done your road areas already during Xmas 2024 when I was in Encinitas riding road.
Saw your picture of Seaside Reef a while back.
LMK on dates and we should definitely ride.

Nice weather so switched it up a bit and hit a new trail to keep it interesting. One of my front range fav's I have seen Ritchey Rude bomb a few times. I used to think I was good until I saw him hit a few lines in the technical rocks sections.
Thought I was in the desert for a minute, a certain elevation on the trail had blooming prickly pears, don't see that often here. Saw some monster wild turkeys kackling at me and almost hit a deer.

God, I love bikes, I'm really going to love the motor bike if the China tariffs don't shiat can that, its paid for, now I wait.... Until then, who needs church when you have a bike and single track...
Another quick Devils ride in today before the next storm. I'm on the western slope for a Aspen work trip Sunday if anyone here has a epic trail they can suggest. something with vertical and rocks preferred:) The weather may push me more to Grand junction, don't see Moab in the cards.

Wish I could make it out there, but no can do. From Asheville, pick a direction - trails everywhere. One place that always comes up is Dupont State Forest.

I haven't been out there since Helene ravaged the area, so no idea what's open/exists any longer. All of the breweries are fantastic, try them all! The Sierra Nevada brewery south of town is what I call the Biltmore of Breweries - it is an awesome place, great food, plenty going on, it's really something to see. My favorite brewery is Oskar Blues in Brevard, though. Burial in Asheville would be #2.

If you're coming in on I-40, expect delays as it is 1 lane each direction west of Asheville. Have a blast!

Nailed my 2nd century ride! I'm the one with the mustache on the right in the yellow/blue jersey.

You guys/gals on dirt are an inspiration! I think miles on dirt are the equivalent of 2X or more on pavement.

Or check with Berm Peak. I think he just sold his place out there but the guy knows all the trails.

So . . . tomorrow's metric.
Can I tell you how much I hate that hill on the north end of the route, the road going up by Hill Air Force Base?
Especially in the spring when I don't have the miles under me yet due to the changing weather this year (it snowed yesterday/last night).
Oh well, we'll see how it goes.
Enjoy your rides tomorrow.

The weather is warming up here and I’m jealous of y’all putting in some miles. I hurt my back a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to do much of anything, let alone ride. I have however been giving my Trek a bit of a rebirth. Can’t wait to put it through it’s paces. In the meantime I’ll live vicariously through this thread.
