Delancy,
My bad. I thought you were getting rid of stock bench seats. I am trying to avoid at all cost buying the SOR upholstery kits. I've bought a Pig for less than the cost of one if those sets. I really want the OEM vinyl look, but may have to settle for the Tuff Duck covers.

Thanks for sending the bumper!

Boss,
Not sure how much the SOR kits are, but a local upholsterer should be able to recover yours for $2-300. There are some cool patterns that can come close to stock looking...

That roof needs some loving...

The whole thing needs and is going to receive lots of love, but it'll stage in with the goal of having a Pig to drive at all times.

Considering the current states of the other two, the 76 will be first up.

I've been sitting on the beach the last two days, pretending my mobile doesn't work for the real works, but contemplating the three little pigs fates.

Once the 72 body work is done at the current location and all my parts from Onur come, others sourced, she's going to see mechanical love from acclaimed Pig farmers, the original plan, due to the inherent value it'll add the the entire project, if to no one else, to me.

Plans in the works on the 71 still....but a wheeler she'll be, and probably after topped, bobbed, standard run of the mill cage.....hopefully....

The 76 I intended to do myself, from a mechanical standpoint.

In conversation with Dr. Azeri today, myself seaside during this one, the reply to me getting a little carried away on preliminary concerns on the 76, was "don't get bogged down.......address safety and engine reliability and drive the f$:);5;er.", once again, an effort to save from another immediate frame off resto, that all of mine, including the 80, will inevitably see.

I'm going to try to relax and not get too far ahead of myself, to keep from being overwhelmed, SOOOO....

My immediate mechanical plans are to do brakes and axles, then go from there.

At some point, the exterior will return to OE color, if it can be determine. Will get the roof then....

Ige was telling me about a guy near her & Pighead. I really like the stock vinyl look that's in her blue Pig & wanted to get as close to that as possible with some new, firmer stuffing.

If you have a shop in mind, pm me...

The shops I use are in Fort Collins, probably further than you want to drive...

For some reasonably priced re-upholstered bench seats? Hell, I'd drive to Pueblo...

Boss hog. Not sure where you are at buy I have some really nice bench seats sitting in my garage. Newly refinished by PO. I put bucket seats in so don't need them. In Missoula Montana. Front bench is yours if you can figure out how to get it. Not sure what I'm going to do with rear yet

Dude This Is a nice rig.

Thanks!!

I'm looking forward to driving, for sure. Aaron at Summit said tomorrow was the tentative date and I'll return from Mexico tonight.

It will help lessen the "real world" syndrome that hits like a 2x4, even when expected, when returning to responsibilities after a five day vacation. (That's not even truthful, considering my phone didn't take a vacation, so the real world followed me here).

Easier to deal with issues when this is the screensaver, though. (Real time pic)

Anyhow, will insure and tag tomorrow, hopefully, and base lining fluids this weekend and driving in the wee hours of the morn, before the hellish heat of the day.

It's been a brutal week heat wise, was still at 102 last night at 9 pm ...

Tucker

Can't wait. No place like home, even of it deserves a mention in Dante's Inferno.

At the Cancun airport about to board and received a call from the very, very nice but very Brittish driver. She stated they've encountered issues somewhere in New Mexico and "the dually won't break 1300rpms" so we're expecting delays.

No issue for me, since my workload tomorrow far surpasses major suckage, but hoping for Saturday.

With her accent, she had me at "Chris?".,...

Need to hit Ron's on the way back, since he's the coating maestro.

For that matter, I bet all the steel in the Slow71 could rust to nothing and the body would remain, a testament to many, many coats of Lizard Skin. Haha.

Ron, sounds like you may need the Pig for a boat, today. Hope she floats. Hope all's well.

I've lived here (Central US) my entire life and I've never seen so many Flash Flood or Flood warnings in the middle of summer.

Message late last night from the Brit said fuel pump was fixed and they'd be here midday.

I'll have tea waiting. Hahahaha.

Yeah, some wierd weather going on. One of my Sons is a deputy, in the area and says it's bad. I'm high and dry!
