Did a couple things this morning. Never been thrilled with my front suspension, so I started with the easy thing. They weren't as ****ed as I thought they'd be but, may as well.
After a few years the front suspension sagged enough that my bump stops were too tall. I had these old fj40 ones in there, never liked it but it's what I had. Back to the parts bin...
So now, I put the bj74 ones back in, with a little adapter plate to move them forward. I really need to get my self a right angle drill. Could skip the adapter if I could get a drill in there to bang a new hole in.
They're actually too low now , but I figure I'll make some landing pads for them on the ubolt plates.
You can see where the old ones were landing...made the mall speed bumps a bit fierce.
Debated getting some different bumps but I don't really want to spend a bunch of money sorting this because a 12ht is probably heavier than a 3b and s***s all gonna change again..
Gotta plan ahead
