Drop down? Hell no. Rears stuff just fine. Fronts stuff just fine too. Only an issue while turning. I'll just cut s*** out of the way until it fits.

I think you might have misunderstood my last post.

Mostly so I have record of it myself but for anyone else maybe curious... I went with 3/16 hard brake line with 3/8 - 24 nuts, the new 3/4 ton brake conversion brackets and calipers I got from lugnut4x4 use a 10mm banjo fitting. I was pretty reasonably certain that was the correct size when I ordered over the phone from absolute hose and fittings lol but it worked out so I was glad. So yeah...

But umm, I still can't lock the front brakes up, so...

I'm pretty sure I have a bad brake booster.

I do wonder if I should just step down to a 1 1/16 t100 master, is this 1 5/16 too big?

Is the vacuum pump operating within a normal range?

Fxxx me.

Install a proportioning valve on the brake lines? This way you can dial in pressure difference between front and rear brakes.

First, I'd check vacuum on the pump. Factory vacuum pump is a sweet setup.

Nominally, your running ~1000 psi on the hard brake lines fwiw.

Another thought, throw stock size tires/rims on and see if that will lock up.

So I Td my gauge into it and the second I touch the brakes, bye bye vacuum. If I shut off vac to the booster it took about 2:00 to drop from -25 to almost 0

Just fyi

What no hydro boost??

Bought an HE351CW, gonna be a real headache I think but I'll get it set up. Going to have to set up a different air filter. Intercooler plumbing is going to have to be way different too. Hoping between a bigger air filter and this turbo it'll lower egts a bunch and be a big boost in power.

My EGTs suddenly shot through the roof on the highway. Not sure what happened. I've tweaked with a few things but I'm thinking air filter. Hitting damn near 1100* just to do 80 on a flat.

Still need to set up water meth too.

Don't think that frozenboost intercooler does s*** either.

Nope I have been saying it's junk for a while now. I ordered their 600hp a/w intercooler and it's garbage. It does very little to reduce intake charge. I bought a much better and bigger core from bell but my good fabricator quit and the new guy couldn't make it work. But from everything I have read the same size bell or Garrett core will be about 60-100% more efficient than the cheap froozenboost junk. Should have known, you get what you pay for.

Yeah... I really wonder if it's even worth keeping. It's ugly and in the way if not.

The he351cw is the turbo I plan on using also. 9cm hot housing for quick spool up and the compressor housing of an hx40. Kind of the best of both worlds

There is some temp drop but it is not huge. I can see pretty hot air temps and still have cool water in my reservoir. It just isn't very efficient at heat transfer. I would send the drawing to Bell Intercoolers of the biggest space you have available and have them make one for you. It would be my next move if I get back to working on this truck.
