Tow it there Thursday with the other engine. You'll be driving by Friday lunch! Johnny will go crazy being away from all the projects in Durham and he'll be needing his fix.

The Crockpot does need to be there, regardless of condition.

The first annual CCLRHAMOM?

Oh sh@t! Don't tempt me guys! If I thought I could get a full set of gaskets and seals for the spare engine in time I would so haul my junk to......WAIT! Didn't I see Beno's name a couple of posts back? Hmmmm................

Man, Ive been so into recovering from my motorcycle accident that I've almost forgot about IH8MUD! I miss you great friends!

My doc has recently released me to drive, to me it sounds like he is telling me to go to Uwharrie!

See you there everyone!

If you're thinking is the compression and overheating are related (i.e. Most likely head gasket) then pick up a valve grind gasket set and bring with you.

Are you going to do a quick HG swap in the campground? That would be epic.

Cause word on the street is that a gasket kit is on its way from GA.

:)

If you do the head gasket, you'd be nuts not to put the head from my old motor on there. Very little run time after a good valve job and milled for compression (all on propane only).

If Shasta makes it (and that's a big if) there will definitely be more wrenching than wheeling for me. I'm bringing tools and several cans of plastidip. Group HAMOM? It'll be like outdoor monster garage. helzYa

She turned back into a truck tonight.

Hell yeah sounds good to me. I am more than willing to lend a hand on any and all projects.

Absolutely! I will need to do a bit of wrenching as well - @beno will be bringing a rather large item for me that will require at least :banana: to load on my 80. I'd love to lend a hand on Shasta.

Ah yes, I received a text about this last night.

:) I'm heading to Sam's to pick it up on Monday. Nice score.

It sounds like we're going to need to set out a tip jar for beno.

HUGE thank you! Seriously!

Yes, @beno is really doing me a solid! A tip jar is definitely in order.

Guys, I'm not going to put everyone through a HAMOM of this magnitude. I'm going to do a full engine swap here at home using the 2F (head and all) that was last in Dozer. Beno is bringing me a full gasket/seal set to LR. I will be recruiting all the help I can get from you guys once I'm ready to do the swap. Unfortunately it's not gonna' happen at CCLR. No Crockpot this time. It'll either be a Jeep or an old Kawasaki KDX...or maybe both. Oh how I do love the smell of premix in the morning...
