Hey all, this is basically a cross post from the 40 section post but we need the 60 series owner's input as well:
So @serenity came up with this cool stainless steel version of the union pipe (16577-61040 / 16577-60100 ) which was used on 69-86 cruisers. We are working with him to potentially make this available for the community.... but the big question is: Is this something you would want or need for you cruiser? This will be a union pipe with a welded on threaded side port so people could still plumb in a heater, or valve or temp gauge. Whatever you want.
The stock one is available from Toyota for about $40 and this SS union would of course be more than that (Could be around $100 once all it said and done, details are still being figured out so that number is just an estimate at this point).
Let us know what you think though! Yay? Nay?

We understand there is another pipe variant for the FJ60s with A/C. Would there be interest in this version?

Hello Chase, The second one is of interest in stainless if you're still looking for feedback. It is still available from Toyota ( at least it was 6 months ago) but I have no visibility in what the inventory looks like now. Given its location, a stainless option would be great. If you need a CAD model, let me know. I can model this in NX and send you native or any other neutral file format for fabrication.

Damn. Bike parts or Cruiser parts…. 😂😂

Just posted an updated 1988 Land Cruiser repair manual. Why did we update it? Because the electrical diagrams in the back of the old PDF were terrible and unreadable. So we purchased a manual and carefully scanned and stitched together the electrical diagrams so they would be easy to read and help you all get on with your repair projects.

Electrical diagrams are always the hardest documents to scan. They are made of super thin and delicate paper, sometimes 10 pages long when unfolded and time consuming to digitally stitch together in one long sheet, as Toyota intended for them to be viewed. Definitely rewarding when its all done though and you need to trace a wire for repair.
You can find and download the manual on our page.

Excited to offer these.

We spent some time sourcing these and creating a retrofit for a newer Toyota parking brake to 60 series connectors.

OEM Toyota right here. In Gray and Black (sorry brown not available).

Nice!

Is the grip portion vinyl or textured plastic? My factory plastic cracked and split lengthwise many years ago and I've been wanting to have a replacement lever and cable ready to go for whether I convert to an FZJ80 rear axle or just put on a tcase parking brake.

Textured plastic like stock. Get them while you can. Like all things OEM. Eventually they go NLA.

We have more FJ62 fusible link rebuild kits in stock. This round they are cheaper than before due to the stud terminal block we normally included with the kits now being NLA from Toyota. I guess the last batch we purchased was the last from them. :(
We are working on finalizing an alternative that should work just perfect. :) This part is not essential for a rebuild, but very nice to update for a fresh electrical connection. More to come on that part later.

Restock of Cruiser Hats. This batch we were able to order in larger amounts and drop the price.

Hey all!
Just an update on our Kill Harnesses and Fusible link kits.
For the kill harnesses we will have more in stock soon and at a more consistent stocking level going forward. We are retooling behind the scenes to make these way way more efficiently.
For the fusible link kits, same story. Working on making them more efficiently and offering a steady available stock. For the FJ62 kits, we have found an awesome genuine replacement for the now discontinued 82670-90K00, which we originally included in the kits. The replacement is a Toyota-Yazaki part and fits the bill perfectly. So going forward we will be including them in the kit. We are also looking into offering a partial built version on a more consistent basis. Currently that offering is just occasional. We get that not everyone wants to build the kit themselves, so trying to lower the barrier to utilization a bit more.
Lots going on. Better for all.

FJ62 fusible link DIY kits are back in stock! Everything you need to rebuild your links, you just need to reuse one of your OG connectors in a simple re-pin step. They come with a new OEM substitute for the now NLA 82670-90K00. Thank you for all your support!
