Nine "in stock". I'm mid-process building these and they will go out over the coming two weeks as I finish them up. They are NOT part of the sale ... but hey, everything else is 10% off! Once those nine are out the door I'll do the next round.

FYI, I'll get better photos soon - when you all install them! The problem is that I can't take photos of a 62 that I don't have. I got a few shots of the long-running tester install, but I'm no photographer.

FYI - and I've repeated this in posts above - the FJ62 FLRK is not 100% plug and play. It requires crimping three wires into three butt splice connectors and then melting the heat shrink splice insulation.

Items you'll need to bring to the party:
Wire strippers
Wire crimper
Heat gun or lighter
Zip ties

The zip ties are for securing the 9' long alternator charger cable. It's 6awg, so it's heavy enough that it won't be flopping around on its own very much, but it's such a long run that it's a good idea to use the zip ties to make sure it doesn't go anywhere or doesn't run by anything hot.

Checking the mailbox like a crackhead sir.

Another quick FYI:

Over the weekend I got run out of several constituent parts for building FLRKs. The quantities available to order one part in are never the same as another part, so it’s a rotating annoyance of which piece will run dry next haha. Some are going out today and some will go out as soon as I get my hands on all the parts - they’re already on their way.

Thanks for wiping me out of stock on a lot of stuff!

I’m about to drop the package off… might wanna go inside and have a drink for a couple days!

FYI:

No orders are going to ship today. I got a call last night and ended up helping a friend with some emergency car repairs, and have meetings at my day job all day today. Sorry for the one-day delay, but sometimes life is like that. Orders will continue going out through the week.

Big thanks to everyone who ordered last week. I think that was the largest volume of orders in the shortest period of time that I've ever gotten. The sale went bonkers and in a world of cheap Amazon junk, I appreciate folks choosing to spend their money with me! Another round of orders is going out today. 62 FLRKs will start going out towards the end of this week and beginning of next.

FYI, if you contacted me about cargo panels recently, please ping me again on Mud/IG/email. A couple folks wanted the variant I'm out of stock on, but in the mad rush of orders I've lost track of everyone who expressed interest. I'm getting another batch going and want to make sure I reach out to everyone.

Nice job on these Jim! I have your 60 version and it has given me great relief knowing I have a modernized setup for protection, along with that properly sized cable coming from my alternator to the battery.

Keep up the great work.

Got the "out for delivery" notification...
putting the beer down and loading up my crackpipe.
Nothing better than taking another hit off the Land Cruiser parts crack pipe...

Right after I posted that, Brown Santa came knocking.

Heavy box.
It’s probably all the CruiserTrash decals.

Only one sticker but damn, the FJ62 FLRK is a serious piece of kit. Weather will determine if it goes on tomorrow but I am excited nonetheless.

Great work Jim.

Thanks Ian! I can't recall if I included paper instructions in yours or not - I was so busy building them I didn't think about typing up instructions until one or two had gone out the door. I can email a PDF though, and obviously you can always call me. Happy to walk you through.

Good luck with the bottom bolt for the bracket. That's by far the most difficult thing here, if that says anything. It's the one on the bottom of the windshield washer fluid reservoir, you can't see it so you're working blind.

Yeah, Jim…
There is what looks like a very detailed set of instructions included.

It’s raining today so doubtful I’ll get to these but who knows.

Thanks again,
Ian

Dang, now I think I might need one of these bad boys for Betty so I can be in the cool kids club. And, who doesn't want some cool stickers?
Get you some
