Checking the mailbox like a crackhead sir.FYI - and I've repeated this in posts above - the FJ62 FLRK is not 100% plug and play. It requires crimping three wires into three butt splice connectors and then melting the heat shrink splice insulation.
Items you'll need to bring to the party:
Wire strippers
Wire crimper
Heat gun or lighter
Zip ties
The zip ties are for securing the 9' long alternator charger cable. It's 6awg, so it's heavy enough that it won't be flopping around on its own very much, but it's such a long run that it's a good idea to use the zip ties to make sure it doesn't go anywhere or doesn't run by anything hot.
I’m about to drop the package off… might wanna go inside and have a drink for a couple days!Checking the mailbox like a crackhead sir.
Nothing better than taking another hit off the Land Cruiser parts crack pipe...Got the "out for delivery" notification...
putting the beer down and loading up my crackpipe.
Thanks Ian! I can't recall if I included paper instructions in yours or not - I was so busy building them I didn't think about typing up instructions until one or two had gone out the door. I can email a PDF though, and obviously you can always call me. Happy to walk you through.Only one sticker but damn, the FJ62 FLRK is a serious piece of kit. Weather will determine if it goes on tomorrow but I am excited nonetheless.
Great work Jim.
Yeah, Jim…Thanks Ian! I can't recall if I included paper instructions in yours or not - I was so busy building them I didn't think about typing up instructions until one or two had gone out the door. I can email a PDF though, and obviously you can always call me. Happy to walk you through.
Good luck with the bottom bolt for the bracket. That's by far the most difficult thing here, if that says anything. It's the one on the bottom of the windshield washer fluid reservoir, you can't see it so you're working blind.
Get you someDang, now I think I might need one of these bad boys for Betty so I can be in the cool kids club. And, who doesn't want some cool stickers?
