@fjc-man
I’m thinking that is off of TinCup Pass back around spring of 1987. We were just trying to get to some beaver ponds to fish for Cut Throats without walking.
So many trails were open back then, not so much today.

@TWatson you gave me a thumbs up, thanks! But you don’t return my text and your website looks decrepit. Is your N2 Cruisers business going?
Give me a shout

I know you guys are around here somewhere! I’m still getting my Sh*t together from my move. One day, hope to meet up and beer talk some Cruisers.

Across the Rio Grande from you at 7,240 feet. From our neighborhood I can see the vehicle headlights on SB I-25 just after crossing under the Old Pecos Trail exit.

From somewhere in between...

I can see snow over your way, John. The line of sight that you describe is about 400 feet above my roof and three and a half houses over, creepy.

Here's an old one, but a favorite of my old `73. This was above Breckinridge in September of `09 during the annual 40's Only Run. Needed the chains to get that high that day. I wonder if that old cabin is still there?

I was looking through a slide show of scenic highways in the US a few minutes ago and ran across this photo of my neck of the woods (literally). It just so happens that my neighborhood is almost exactly dead center in the photo - top to bottom and left to right, on top of the plateau at the base of the distant Jemez mountains.
