No. I sanded the green enamel off that it came with with 220g silicon carbide wet-dry paper. My bezel is just repro stamped steel that might receive some wax and steel wool from time to time is the plan. I thought about painting the letters grey, but, not yet. I have to remove a pure white that is covering my original cygnus or whatever on the '75 OEM, but that can wait.
those letters probably saved me from quite a few, "is that a Jeep?" parking-lot conversations?
