Got my USB charger and it’s right at home on the dash. I already had a different USB charger so all I had to do was swap the leads - took under a minute to install. If you have to run your own wiring, I bet it would take about 20-30 minutes.

Great work @ChaserFJ60 !!

All you gotta do now is get one of Chase's Dash Bezels to fix up that cracked up one. ;)

I have one of the first 10 he made … just need to get around to sanding & painting it haha. His radio bracket is holding my radio in so there’s other Chase-related stuff in there, don’t worry.

Hey do you happen to be working on a blank for the bigger hole in the dash to the right of the steering column?

No but id like to, I could knock one of those out pretty quickly if I could get one sent in as a loaner reference piece. My FJ60 didnt come with a blank there so I have nothing on hand.

Same. Mine came with a home made plastic piece to fix the hole. Not viable for a template.

Looks like they can still be bought new from toyota, Unless you would like a custom configuration made for it there's not much I could do

COMING SOON

Having in-house injection molding has its perks for sure. Within only two days I have a new injection mold milled and ready to go!

My first test of the sun visor swivel was a huge success, its stronger, closer to the OEM style than my old 3D prints, and just overall better.

More and more 60 series owners are seeing these NLA sun visor swivel bases break with no other alternative for an OEM replacement, leaving owners with no other option than to remove their sun visors entirely. This new injection mold will take care of that without any compromise to the factory Land Cruiser style.
These swivel bases will come color matched to the original Tan. I'm not sure if the Gray color scheme FJ60-62's had a different color than Tan but if they did I can offer other colors as-well.

*Mind my torn headliner

Here we can see the original tan compared to the new injection molded units.

Shown above is the Driver side, I have to make a new mold for the passenger side.

Here they are Primed to showcase how smooth they are compared to the Tan OEM swivel base

As for the FJ62 USB Chargers, They're also a work in progress. I'm stuck waiting for the mailman to deliver hardware for testing.

I'd love to see a thread or YT video or something on your injection molding setup. The Physics Anonymous guys did a series on their injection molding setup that was very informative.

I've seen their video! Mines bit more primitive but also more versatile than theirs. I'd like to show a video but that would mean I have to clean my garage. Maybe someday it will be clean haha

If you have already purchased a pair of sun-visor swivel bases from me before and want to upgrade to the new injection molded ones you may apply the discount code "SunVisor" for a discount on your upgrade. Only if you have already purchased the sun visor swivel bases before will this code work. You must use the same email at checkout as you did for the bases for the system to register your discount code. The new swivel bases are not yet available but will be soon.

Will those work with 70 series visors? I seem to remember guys ordering 70 series visors to replace the NLA 60 series and they were almost an exact fit except for the bases.

Im not sure. They sure do look the same though. I'd be willing to work with a 70's owner to verify fitment!
