Thurs - Golden Spike:bounce::bounce2:

Fri - 1st) Poison Spider:hhmm:
- 2nd) Hells Revenge:hhmm:

Sat - open CSC Day

The only one thats a must 4 me is Spike. I've run both the Friday selections, so...

Thurs. - Golden Spike (Hell's 2nd)
Friday - Area BFE (Hell's 2nd)
Saturday - Hell's Revenge but set to do a CSC trail day also.

Any idea why Rose Garden Hill did not show up on the pull down menus?

Hoping to be available for the complete CSC caravaning activities this time.

Moab choices; Thurs: 1) Tip Toe Behind The Rocks
2) Fins & Things

Fri: 1)Poison Spider Mesa
2)Porcupine Rim

Sat: Open ( CSC )

My brother and I just finished signing up for Cruise MOAB.

Thur: 1st: Golden Spike
2nd: Behind the Rocks
Fri: 1st: Hells Revenge
2nd: Metal Masher
Sat: CSC Day

He's going to be coming from TX so we were planning on meeting up in Pinetop like Tuesday night and leave first thing on Wednesday.

:bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2:

Mine are;
Thursday 1st: Rating: 7 Golden Spike
Friday 1st: Rating: 7 Area BFE - Difficult

Thursday Spike only had 8 spots left, anyone wanting in better get them!:D

I registered us for:

Thursday: Spike - Poison Spider - Hells
Friday: Tip Toe - Hells - Metal Masher
Saturday: Moab Rim - Poison Spider - Hells

We are not wedded to trails, either (I will only do Moab Rim if Hartman leads it, anyway) - I also volunteered us as gunners :hillbilly:

oh yeah, and the overnight run was never open for registration to begin with - filled with all insiders :rolleyes:

:meh:

:idea: we could do the Swell as a Pre-Run ourselves :hhmm:

I propose that we plan for next year as a camping every other night run. Camp on Hole in the Rock, hotel Blanding, camp at Dollhouse/Maze, hotel Green River, camp at the Swell, then Moab?

Sounds good to me... I'm in

If posible I'm going to try to do Swell or Hole in the Rock before meeting up with you guys on Saturday. I might have 2 trucks from my club convoing down with me if our schedules work out.

:cool:

With camp at BFE, Lockhart is less handy? Thinking of staying south longer, like Sat & Sun nights in Blanding and Mon & Tue nights Monticello, moving to BFE/Moab on Wed with tech/BFE trail play on the way?

A trail suggested at the Blanding Visitor Center on the way home last year was Texas Flat. It's on the west side of Arch Canyon and comes out on Bears Ears near the Arch Canyon overlook.

Also would like to checkout the canyons south off of 211, Salt, Davis, Lavender?

Spending more time at Ruin Park in Beef Basin would be cool, we didn't have time to check them out last time. Maybe come in 107 off of 211, to 104 and coming out Elephant Hill?

Expedition Utah

So much to see and do around there. This looks like it would be cool to check out

We were only a few miles from that last year, was on the short list. I'm game for this year.

no frickin way I am driving on that ridge :eek:

oh, whatever happened to the White Rim or Escalante plans ?

That ridge is walking terrain.

This is the planning thread, so your suggestions are properly placed! :D

On White Rim, my research shows we are too late to get camping spots for this year. It has been suggested to make an all of the way around assault on Saturday and I would be in for that. I agree that it would be a less than ideal way to see it, but thinking of it as more of a prerun for a future 2 day run?

Haven't done any research on Escalante, what are you thinking for routes, etc?

Claudia and Kevin, I will be on Spike on Thursday. Nice to wheel with you again

The overnight was open to all, just filled in hours after registration was open

... I will be on Spike on Thursday...

You may want to reconsider, Spike/Thurs is a CSC favorite and it looks like a bunch of us will be on it, could get ugly! :lol::hillbilly:

Who is leading?

Who is leading?

I have wheeled with you before, how much uglier could it possibly get :D. besides, daughterofromer and Claudia will be there and that makes any group of wheelers look better.

Leader/Gunners won't get fully defined until early March at the earliest
