In other news, I found a cool internal supersession of part numbers that led me to being able to procure 2H/12H-T water pumps.

It's cool. They come with a gasket, which is nice.

These are beefy water pumps. They weigh 13lbs! For a civilian passenger mass produced vehicle! Very impressive.

Of course, they are not cheap.

In any event, just a couple of missives from the uber nerdy Toyota parts world.

So this picture really illustrates the nitty-gritty mundane world of a parts professional. Luckily, it's a simple life with really simple pleasures.

Amazing how ten digit numbers really do provide a sense of stability....

The only person on MUD who should understand and comprehend the logic of this picture is @cruiserdan ... He taught it to me a decade ago.

Those are NOT Dayton bin boxes.

Shame on you....:flipoff2:

Im going to attempt to stump you. What's the part number for this? It was turned into lost and found this morning at the festival I'm working. The sunglasses inside are not Toyota.

Onur, Talking about durable, simple, hose clamps makes me think about our "Ladder Frames". anytime you read an article in a car magazine the writer always accuses the ladder frame af being "dated"; they work!, "solid axles", they work!. It is irritating.

By the way, this is my favorite thread....lot's of OEM porn:D

Man, no idea Cimarron. Looks like Toyota Associated Products meaning Chi-com and could be anything!

Maybe a bowl and a bag of weed? :)

I'm happy the information I provide is useful for folks.

I don't have FB/twitter/ etc so I sort of consider this thread my "social media outlet."

:)

Agreed Jim.

I am way to busy to be wasting time on 30 different sites telling people what I ate for breakfast!

Folks:

I am currently out of the office through Sunday night attending the Mardi Krawl in Alabama put on by the Louisiana Krewsers.

There will be parts shipments tomorrow but I won't be able to do any quotes or pricing or orders till I get back into the office Monday morning, April 11th.

Thanks for your understanding.

That's what we were hoping for but it was just some cheap sunglasses.

I've never been on Facebook or twitter; and since I'm old, (59) I don't get it. Onur, be gentle with the Idle control solenoid . Enjoy in Alabama.

This is the perfect hammer

For hitting your brass drift

To loosen and remove your cone washers

A Toyota hammer haiku:

Hammer raps a tune
Cone washers succumb and pop
Beno smiles proudly

I love mine, thank you Onur!

Maybe it would be best if I just posted a pic of what I have in my tool kit since I'm not sure what all is supposed to be in it. The main thing(s) I need are the part that hooks to the jack and the part that fits into the spare tire winch to lower it. Are the the same, or two different parts? The following pic is everything my cruiser came with other than the jack that I didn't put in the pic. Thanks in advance for deciphering my wish list! :)
