Thought I'd share this. I work in Toyota parts and not going to gate-keep; and pulled this info from TIS. Connectors get dry n brittle, and we all know the song and dance.

As far as repair wire, most commonly part number used is 82998-12440

That's 325 connectors, a bit to keep track of. Thanks, I had been missing those part numbers.

BTW:
Prefix 90980- is added to 5 digit (suffix) found on each wire housing block. Yields P/N.
Prefix 82711- is added to 5 digit (suffix) found on each wire housing blocks bracket. Yields P/N.

I recently asked Ourisman Toyota for help finding a connector as I couldn’t seem to find it. They couldn’t help(?!) and told me to look for the number on the connector, like yeah no sh!t, if that piece hadn’t broken away I wouldn’t have asked. I eventually gambled on a number and won but this list would have been very handy to have.

Unfortunately, they were just lazy. You'd be surprised how much people here on the counter don't know how to (or want to) utilize TIS. Its sad.

Hi Andrew

Is there a list for the connecter housings perhaps?.

I'm' trying to source 90980-12252 male plug connector housing for Toyota Land Cruiser 2006, 100 series with steering angle sensor. Mine was butchered by the previous owner.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. I' also look at a pig tail. I have a new steering angle sensor.
