Update, 2040PDT, 23 July:

All payments for import brokerage/shipping have been paid by all parties, I have paid the import broker everything, and so everything is good to go from there with just a few notes below.

1. @seanroe1 footed the bill up front for shipping via Lucky8 from LA to Charlotte for 3 tops, total cost: $870.
@seanroe1
@Universe953
@theglobb

2. The fourth top that needed to go East was for @bulletsmith but it needed to go to Louisiana due to work/timing, etc. Initial idea was that all 4 tops move from LA to Charlotte, then @bulletsmith would have had to foot the bill to move his from Charlotte to Louisiana on his dime (estimated at $500+)
- However, Lucky8 is unable to ship 4 tops at once, and if they did, it was going to cost us 3 times as much as above.
- Discussed with @seanroe1 and @bulletsmith alternative options.
- Had estimated $300 per top going east via Lucky8, but that only worked out for 3 tops. I however, received payment for essentially 4 tops going east in my initial estimates published earlier.
- @bulletsmith has now sourced his own shipping now direct from LA to Louisiana at a cost of ~$750, cutting out the middle man of going LA to Charlotte to Louisiana.
- @bulletsmith will be given the remaining shipping funds $330 to as the expectation this money was already going to be used to get tops east. He will be on the hook for the rest of the cost of his shipping out of his own pocket.
-This is a win/win for everyone. Our total cost of shipment remains the same that everyone already paid, and working together, we save @bulletsmith a couple bucks from having to pay for shipping to Charlotte, then to Louisiana because he has a job.

3. Our import broker costs are exactly as estimated previously, they have been paid.

4. I owe a payment of $348 to @seanroe1 as he footed the bill ahead of time for shipping via Lucky8. There will be an updated pickup order generated by my import broker for only 3 tops and I'll get it sent to you Sean.

5. I owe a payment of $330 to @bulletsmith to offset his shipping costs. There will be an updated pickup order generated by my import broker for this shipment and I'll get it sent to you Mike.

6. I pick up my top and @JK FW top tomorrow from the warehouse. I was given notification today that our shipper from South Africa decided to ignore his own warning labels and send these boxes on their side in the shipping container. I will have to sign a waiver because they were shipped like this and also say "fragile" on the side. Given the fact that our boxes are made out of plywood, I don't think this will cause major impacts. See pictures attached.

Let me know if you have issues with anything above. From here on, it's every man for themselves with pickup and any associated fees if they charge them at the warehouse (hopefully there are none).

I'm going to try and do my install this weekend if I have a chance, will try and upload a video detailed how badly I mess it up.

332 days after I asked who was interested in this group buy, my pop top is in my possession. Quick crappy video embedded with initial Unboxing and first impressions.

Thanks Paul. If there is a way to confirm there is no fee for Friday, or what the fee is, that would be appreciated.
Discussed with them and told them others would be down on Friday for pickup and they said "that's fine, no worries".

The receptionist doesn't speak great English, but just make sure to show her the 4 names of the boxes you need.

Congrats!!! You, more so than anyone else here, deserves it the most. Been said a billion times before but you have done such an amazing job organizing everything. Can’t thank you enough

Trying to get everything ready for our install. From watching videos Soudal T. rex is the adhesive that people seem to use is that the consensus?

T-rex is definitely the way to go!
I just had 12 tubes of Sikaflex 221 delivered yesterday, that's what I plan to use.

Get an electric caulking gun and practice laying beads with something cheap like generic caulk on a scrap piece of cardboard or something.
At least don’t try and use a cheapo hand operated gun—your forearms will burn before you finish. Lol.

It has begun
