What I’m hoping is since the Alu-Innovation is similar to the Alu-cab, the installation is similar. Yes, but retired and doing other fun stuff with the gov.I'm sure there is one between Ft. Benning (are you Army) and New York!
Looked at a bunch of videos today on them, very similarWhat I’m hoping is since the Alu-Innovation is similar to the Alu-cab, the installation is similar. Yes, but retired and doing other fun stuff with the gov.
30mm is 1 3/8 inches. I don't think it will be a major issue.
My trooopy in respect to other troopys is a beater. Not oem in the slightest, pretty rusty, and dented everywhere. Therefore I’m totally fine with DIY’in about everything on it, in combination of being broke in college lol. And if I mess it up… take it off again if the adhesive allows, and redo it. Depending how the rest of my rust repair in my roof will go I would make videos documenting the whole process if thats a worry for you. I’m not worried about the headroom, everyone seems very pleased with pretty much everything.I watched the videos and frankly I'm "worried" about 2 things...
1. The warning that a DIY install may be ill advised - finding someone that has done these before plus that additional cost will be an issue)
2. The lower headroom when the top is closed (vs stock AND vs the Alu-Cab)

I like the interior height in my troopy as it is now with the stock roof. Was actually hoping that the pop tops would add more space even when closed. I guess I never thought too much about it though.30mm is 1 3/8 inches. I don't think it will be a major issue.
Not sure, but you may be able to remove that shelf. Can ask CassiemI like the interior height in my troopy as it is now with the stock roof. Was actually hoping that the pop tops would add more space even when closed. I guess I never thought too much about it though.
The front shelf is not my issue although I could like it removed. It's the headroom in the rear when closed. I like the functionality of that space. I wouldn't always want to have to pop the top.Not sure, but you may be able to remove that shelf. Can ask Cassiem
Definitely a way to mount an awning. I assume it is drilled into the actual body of the top itself and attached via bolts or rivets. Is there a way to mount an awning? I see ASPW has one mounted but I can’t see how it’s attached.
Talked with Cassiem, the shelf above the drivers head is removable via bolts. Can be removed before or after install of the actual system. The front shelf is not my issue although I could like it removed. It's the headroom in the rear when closed. Maybe I'm overthinking this aspect...
We'll needless to say New York / Port of Newark would be best for me.Talked with Cassiem, the shelf above the drivers head is removable via bolts. Can be removed before or after install of the actual system.
Colors can be Toyota white or beige. Custom colors are 5000 Rand. Internal carpet can be light grey or dark gray.
Cassiem also told me that they have a new "high top" model (in addition to their standard model) that is 50mm taller to allow for bedding. Working on getting dimension, but will post pictures of the new high top model on the first post.
He's willing to split shipment to both coasts. West Coast would be Los Angeles. What port would work best for the East Coast? Maybe Norfolk or New York? 3 tops can be put on a single pallet for shipment. ~$175 for boxing/crating of each roof. Another ~$100 to palletize.
If enough are interested, seems like we can put 3 on a pallet at once. Even with air freight shipping at ~$1700, across 3 people that's only $433. Might be able to send 3 at at time to select locations vice containerized shipping to one coast. We'll needless to say New York / Port of Newark would be best for me.
