Selling my 1987 FJ60 with 172,900 miles on it. It's in great shape and runs smooth. I have not done much in terms of mods.
New Magnaflow muffler
smog removed

Truck looks very nice. You could have it shipped back this way for ~$1000. Check Truly Vintage in the MUDship section of the classifieds. We shipped many cruisers thru McNutt.

I spoke to Jim (TrulyVintage) and he said I would be looking at $2K. Is McNutt, also TrulyVintage?

No. Sorry for the confusion. We shipped several cruisers from all over the country and I believe for every one of them we used a company called McNutt. We only had trouble with one 40 where the fiberglass top came off during transport but we are pretty confident it was due to the seller not ensuring it was completely secure.

The BIGGEST issue is getting it back to NOLA. Any recommendations?

one-way flight on Southwest - drive back :steer: - cheaper than shipping and no additional hassle

Three years ago this would have been a slam dunk. But with three kids under three...it ain't happening. I contacted McNutt and the quoted $1200. I am having a MUD member do an inspection this weekend. Hopefully everything checks out.

I have two items for sale: (1) a Toy Box with 23 spline input and 10 spline output; it comes with the output shaft for a GMC Turbohydromatic auto and space; (2) a minitruck 10 spline t-case that looks to be in good shape.

Is the minitruck case out of a toyota and if so, what year?

Edit: Nevermind, I see it's not a top shift and it's also the one out of the 40. Not what I'm looking for, sorry.

No, the crawler and box are from a mini truck, but an old with one (10-spline shaft) that had a Chevy motor and Turbohydromatic tranny. Both are free to a good home, but the tranny would need a new output shaft. I guess that is how these things were always used...useless for a 40, actually, unless it has Chevy drivetrain (Georg told me from a photo).

Cruiser had too many unknowns for me being so far away. If it were local I would have purchased and saved the $1,200-1,500 (transport cash) for immediate repairs. I had a line on another CA rig that was super clean, with low miles, and a blown HG but couldn't act fast enough.
Here is one is Dallas: https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/4757813729.html
Looks great w/ a great service history. I am concerned about the high miles and unknown HG replacement. Any thoughts?

Price seems a little high for the mileage and the fact that it is not "built". But it does look very clean other than the tear in the front seat which is typical. We have LC friends in the Dallas area that might be able to lay eyes on it if you are serious about it.

I don't think this one is "the one." I am willing to wait and pay up for a super clean truck with low miles.

There is a guy in Jackson who just got an lx450 and I imagine he will build it a bit and sell it. I'll keep and eye out.

The ones I've seen have been northern trucks. I imagine you want a souther unit
