I bought this truck for myself about 7-8 years ago from Oregon and the wife drove it while her car was in the shop, then I never got it back! Purchased from original owner with 58k miles (through a dealer, was on consignment) all Hwy no off road miles. Currently it has 152k miles on it, regular oil changes with amsoil. Been very regularly maintain and washed. Never been in the mud or off road. Currently being used as a daily driver, wife decided she wants a small car. It has had husky liners in since we got it, carpet in good shape. It has front and rear factory Lockers (Every month or so I take the truck from my wife and go exercise the e-lockers.), OME 2.5 heavy duty lift with castor correcting bushings installed at about 75K miles. I bought it from slee off road, cost a little over $1000 shipped. Wife didn't like the low rider look with the big balloon Michelins, so it has nitto terra grappler. No rust on the truck, been in Texas and west coast all its life. The drivers seat leather is tearing from in and out of the truck. Other seats hardly get used. I have one kid, so she is the only passenger besides my wife. I don't even think the truck has a door ding. But the hood could use a clay bar session, still shines, but has (stuff for lack of a better word) on the paint. Like maybe water spots that won't come off with a good rub. I haven't tried to wax it with cleaner wax or anything, I am sure a good detail guy could make it look new again. The whole truck is very shiny. Has a new battery. Recent tune up, wires, plugs, rotor...etc. Just did it because I wanted to not running bad or anything. Test drives welcome. I don't drive the truck, but don't know of anything wrong with it. No oil stains where it is parked. Did the swivel ball seals at 100k miles. Has the check engine light on because of the egr valve, took it to the mechanic and he said honestly he wouldn't worry about it. Been like that for 70k miles, never a problem. Cranks every time, never left my wife anywhere. It is a 17 year old used truck, but I think the Truck is in excellent condition for its age. Title in hand. Looking to get $8500. Truck is located in Beaumont, TX

I will post a link to more pictures shortly.

nice LX, sure wish it was white :). Best to you, this shouldn't last too long.

Nice low mile truck...GLWTS

Thanks, it was not super premeditated so I didn't take any pictures like I should have, but I will get some up asap. It is a very clean truck that is for sure. We own carwashes so it gets cleaned a lot and it shows. It is not perfect, but nice for 17 years old, I think anyway.

Okay I am uploading the pictures now, sorry it took so long, I took 70 pictures. I took a picture of the dip stick with oil on it, the oil has about 4500 miles on it. We change the oil every 5000 miles. Also I tried to get the strange spots on the hood. I am sure the pictures could have been better, but you are getting the down and dirty, no armor all , no wax, no vacuumed, not just washed wet look, no special angle as to not include this or that, unabated just like you drove over to my house on a random Thursday. I also took a small video, but I don't know if it will upload.

Here is the album:

Okay I include a picture of the title, clear no salvaged title, also you can see the vin on the title if you want to run a search. A nice guy actually ran one for me last night and I did find out that I didn't in fact buy the car from the Original owner like the dealer told me, apparently it started out as least, so I was the third owner. Doesn't really change a thing, but just want to clarify. Also I included a picture of all three diffs lights lite up, now I know they come on and flash without being locked, but it would be some really good timing to hit both front and rear on solid at the same time, trust me they locked. As I said before the pictures are rough with cell phone no less and in the dark. But I would rather make the truck look unflattering than have someone wash it for the first time and see a thousand scratched covered by a fresh "color wax job" or some car salesman trick. It is what is is, nothing more nothing less.

If it was a lease, Carfax can sometimes show the first owner as two different people, if the first owner buys the vehicle after the initial lease is over. So it may indeed have been only owner owner before you.

Well that makes sense. Maybe that is what happened, but it was 15 years ago so who knows.
I do know that the carfax came back clean, no wrecks or damage. Under my ownership it hasn't even been hit by a shopping cart. In all honesty it is the perfect candidate for a nice winch bumper, swing away tire carrier, 4" lift, a 6bt conversion and a host of other off road upgrades. But unfortunately I already have a nice 4x4 for that, I guess you can't keep them all. But this in every right is a far superior truck than my current 4x4 (Land Rover Defender 110), but I just can't part with my rover. I guess there is no fixing brain dead when it comes to a Land Rover!

No timing belt in these trucks, they have chains and they are designed to last about 300k miles from what I read. Of course I might be wrong.

You are correct.

clean mochine! GLWTS!

worth every penny. You might have under-sold it.

The thought did cross my mind. But I don't really know. Kind of wish I would have put it on eBay to see what it would have went for...but its sold now, so no use wondering.

I think you hit the "sweet spot" on price. You may have been able to get a little more but it also may have sat a few weeks while you waited for the "right buyer" to come along. Congrads on the sale!

Yeah all and all I would say I am happy. Because like you say it might have set for a while. And my wife really loved that truck, it was her baby and she wanted to just get rid of it (like ripping off a bandaid) before she changed her mind. She was looking at taking on a new role and it would require her to drive about 320 miles a week and well lets face it, the LX450 is not a gas miser. That would have been two $65 dollar fill ups a week minimum. That is over $500 a month just in fuel, so she opted to get a little car....her decision, not mine. We are little car shopping this weekend, so it all worked out.
