I think the story with Casey and Jimmy starting SAS was pretty interesting.
I’d gotten the story first hand before but it’s still a fun one.

Plus they’re both just such good guys.

Adam Woodiwiss joins me to talk about his 40 that frame is double reinforced because it used to be a post hole digging truck. Now it is used to help out a church youth group.

So the winners of the FJ Company are as follows the 2 first place winners @sogncab, Adam Woodiwiss each getting a hat shirt and headliner patch. And the 3 second place winners are Jayson Fox, Dan Gibbs and @RevISK who are each getting headliner patches

@Last Flight Out obviously had a good time the first time he was on so he came back on this week. We talk about how his Fj40 restoration is going and the inspiration for it the G43S that I had on 2 weeks ago the conversation gets a little sideways and all of the sudden we are laughing about being topless and transported back to 1998.

On this week's episode
Leigh Evans comes back on the podcast to talk about the recent upgrade from a regular 350 to a 5.3 LS. The process ended up being pretty painless despite not having a lot of support from previous V8 swapped Cruisers.

Not nearly as reliable, and very easily duped into jumping into very cold mountain ponds.
Was that a nickel?

He was pissed, I told him you taught him a valuable lesson worth more.

When making business dealings, one should choose their words carefully. 🤣

(Edit)- to his credit, and your parenting, he didn't back out like a bitch. So I'm impressed he learned something and followed through.

@Roastchestnuts joins me this week to talk about salted pork, his current Fj55 build project. We discuss what he is doing to keep the rust demons away meanwhile living in coastal Carolina.

I have loved the photos posted by @Roastchestnuts …always so “clean and crisp”. Gotta be a Hasselblad medium format and a s#!t load of talent

Well he did say that one of the people that he would want to ride shotgun would be like Ansel Adams or similar famous photographers

Thanks Man! Sometimes I think I take too many photos of my old vehicles haha. One of these days Ill start offering prints for sale on mud or somthing. I think the first photo is a digital one with my modern fujifilm camera

Ansel Adams or Georgia Okeefe! As an art teacher I think those are the two I would really appreciate to have a conversation with.
, the second photo was with my 1960s rolleiflex (my favorite medium format) third photo was with a Nikon D3 and vintage 50mm f1.2 ai nikkor from the early 70s, and 4th photo was the hasselblad 500cm 80mm and A16 film back.
