Have you posted it in a Facebook thing called FJ40 Owners and Enthusiasts United States….. I’m not a Facebook user but I seem to get notices in email about this…seems like it could be a good place to post it. I would even post it …if I knew how

Should I do another Calendar for 2027

If you’re asking me, I love it. Maybe a wide format too…. There are some amazing cruisers both cosmetically pretty and crawler pretty…damn, even a dirty muddy cruiser is pretty…

2 cents fwiw

This week on the classic Land Cruisers podcast Lee Lim of Solvefunction joins me to talk about his 80 series. Tipping it on it's side helping out a Rebelle Rally team and the adventures and carnage that comes when you go off road

On this week's episode of the Classic Land Cruisers podcast I speak with @FJBen about his lifelong love of Land Cruisers. We talk about his 55 that tragically rolled during a cold promo event for the FJ cruiser, and now his 88 Bj74 that was the first vehicle of the 17 digit vin system from Australia.

Hey Dan, what factors drive the sale or demand of such an overdone cruiser?
Is the market for something like this very high currently?
Do the buyers keep them for long or is it a satisfying whim?
How long is the building process from start to finish once ordered?
What was included in the wildest build?

Rambling …but this came to mind

I am not talking to the FJ Company but rather I am getting the chance to ride in one

Ooops….never mind

Some of those questions I will ask like what prompted him to buy one, how long is he planning on keeping it, how long it took to build it

Interesting cruiser for a certain person… I think you’ll have a good time riding in it..being so well versed in what an FJ40 is like, you’ve got a good comparison

Just throwing this out there but I am trying to build a website for the podcast. There are a lot of " free" platform sites to build on and they say that they are user friendly and can build a website in minutes. Wix, square space, Google all say free but it costs. I have spent most of the evening tonight trying to build a website. I am trying to get the most out of the new laptop.

The owner of the FJ Company is wanting to come on THE podcast. In fact he sent me some swag to give away. There are going to be multiple winners. The 2 first place winners are going to get an fj company hat, shirt, and headliner patch, The 3 second place winners are going to get FJ Company patches. To enter when I post this weeks episode comment on your favorite story or build.

That one dude from Minnesota was pretty good. 🤣

I use Squarespace for the shop's website. I think wix or godaddy hosts the actual website. Then there's the company emails are through a Google business account.

None of it costs very much thankfully

Well shoot. I wasn't prepared for follow up.

Honestly I liked the one with Ben Draper a lot. He's got a fun sense of humor
Again which one the first one or the one where he bought the 80

This week on the podcast former guest and friend of the podcast @1969_toyota_fj40 joins me to personally show me and let me experience a G43S built by the @fjcompany . We take it on a drive to see first hand the power, performance and comfort the 43 could have.

Special thanks to the FJ Company for providing some swag for a giveaway. To enter comment your favorite build or story from any episode of the podcast. The 2 first place winners will get a hat, shirt, and headliner patch. The 3 second place winners will each receive a headliner patch.
