You are really taking the bar up now. Next you’ll be interviewing Seaknight!
Revive the Rustbucket thread! Let's hear the ending!

I was teasing you all. NOT FUNNY. some how the whole interview didn't make it into the podcast and 2 of the introductions to the episode did make it. I am fixing the problem and it will be back up later. The interview wasn't lost just operator error. So don't worry you will have it soon

Who wants to be on next weeks episode. All you will have to do is talk about Land Cruisers. Interesting mods and repairs, trail runs, history.

@mtn biker If you’re interested in a old man’s rants about the days of land cruising in 1974 and the trends of that era as well as the re-discovery of the FJ40/45 in 2022 roughly 47 years later…let me know what I would have to do…on the other hand I can gladly just keep my rants and raves right here. 🙄

Happy to be on again if you like - just let me know as I have been deep into some recent repairs and upgrades (again, being a n00b with that fresh "what the hell is this thing" perspective) ;-)

My wife asks me when I am going to run out of people to talk to. Little does she know that there some like you that actually want to come back on😉

Just in time for the weekend the latest episode is out now on your favorite listening platforms. Doug Freutel joins me to talk about his Fj40 and how it shaped his life.

YES! What does she know....we are a weird bunch and proud of rust buckets that run around Jeeps and run beyond the new FronCos

You won’t run out of convo material and great stories. A chiropractor I saw a long time ago found out I was into FJ40’s and he said “oh yeah, I had one of those…” apparently his 40 wasn’t very complete and didn’t have a top or any lights except the hazards so he only drove it during the day. He got caught in a surprise blizzard way out in the mountains (he was a hippie so who knows what tree yoga he might have been doing out there but I digress) and he had to fight his way out of the woods in the snow and dark using only his blinking flashers. Everyone has a story about these trucks.

If you ever make it to Montana maybe we could do a live chat, I'm probably not the most interesting character in the Cruiser world but after a few beers I could be entertaining.

We don't have to do it face to face infact most haven't been face to face

It is that time again. Your favorite time of the week. The latest episode is out now on most of your favorite listening platforms. This time @knuckle47 takes the time to meet with me to discuss his Land Cruisers and what prompted him to buy his first one in 74.

@Pitter Patter gets the stalker fan of the day award @OlYellr your slacking 😜

This week's episode hit a bit earlier then you might expect. I speak with Jake Wilson about the 4 Fj40's that he has had over the years. And as he sells one seller's remorse sets in and he starts looking for the next one to own.
