Well this is not the post that I wanted to make this morning. What I had wanted to do is post about there being a new episode for your listening enjoyment. In fact, I had interviewed interviewed someone yesterday and as I was going to edit it last night I found out that the way I recorded, none of the audio was picked up so it ended up being an hour of dead air. So now I have to go back to the beginning and rerecord the whole thing over. Hopefully tonight you guys will have it. Yesterday was a day that everything I touched wanted to go against me. Oh well that is life.

Well the rear blinker is acting up and investigating more today. I'm thinking maybe some PO wiring...
short story long... the light housing is installed properly (right side) - but the outside light blinks not the inside. Im suspecting the PO had the lens on 180 so the white lens over the blinking light - I didn't notice that until recently. I looked at wiring connection and the connection only goes one way (was hoping I could flip the connection).. see pict below. So I am wondering if maybe the PO did some wiring upstream and crossed a few wires to reverse the two end lights in the housing.
When I hold the lens up to the housing, you can see how it doesn't line up unless I have the white lens to the inside and housing partitions line up. Why I think it is the properly installed.

Video of it all if anyone cares. Got blinker to work again - so heading to town. Maybe something to do once salt hits the road, and just drive it for now.

Aho, young warrior. White light should be your backup light. White lense(s) face inboard. Amber light will be your blinker, red is the brake light. Check each of your lenses for the right/left orientation.

Yes, amber is indicator, red is tail/brake, white is reverse. Do I have to listen to this week's podcast to make sense of the video?
The reason the lens is upside down is that Toyota makes them in LHS and RHS spec

So yesterday I tried to record an episode with Andy Roth but through some unforseen circumstances I had to record from a phone call which didn't work. So anyway I had to re-record it tonight. With out further adue this weeks episode with Andy Roth.

Some of you Might have heard in the last couple of episodes in the intro that I have been mentioning wyndscreen.com "the better used car marketplace." This is the brainchild of @onemanarmy. It is exactly what it sounds like. They have worked to get rid of the ghosting of Facebook and the scammers of Craigslist, with the intent of focusing on owner sellers.
