Here we go again for your listening enjoyment. I speak with Leigh Evans about growing up with a Land Cruiser in the family and how he came to own his uncle's 1971 FST Fj40. Proving that one man's trash is another's treasure.

Who would you like to hear from for the podcast?

Although this episode didn't have @Pitter Patter but maybe I should. I just named the episode pitter patter after letterkenny because it is Canadian. And Leigh is Canadian

No credit due here. Not from up country but I do have a face for radio.

Y’all keep smokin them sun darts and I’ll check out the podcast.
You and me both there is a reason why it is just audio because I too have a face for radio😅

Hard to believe at my age I still commute to work well over an hour… this kind of podcast will make this “trip’ a whole lot more relaxing . Honestly, I just figured out that I can get the podcast on the phone and then Bluetooth it to the truck radio.

The future is now!
Or will be soon…

Been thinking about these podcasts and I have not heard all of them yet…

‘’I’m thinking my likely most challenging efforts will be in wiring. If you find someone with a knowledge of the legends and color codes that could simplify the process of Tracing or grouping.. I think that could add a bit to mine and others opportunities to clear up some of the current misconceptions and poorly configured connections we likely all have

i may be wrong…but there are times it APPEARS THAT it may be easier to re-make a completely new harness from the schematics if the correct connectors were available. Rather than to probe wires that were either cut, changed or removed over the decades of previous owners. I remade harnesses using cloth covered reproduction wire on a load of old Harleys but with 8-10 wires and simple ring terminals…YOURE DONE!

I have never been a music aficionado, never listened to podcasts or even considered a radio in my 40. The only time I listen to a radio is when I drive my modern vehicles and even then it is only passive listening or occasionally talk radio. Because of the Classic Landcruiser Podcast I bought a pair of earbuds to connect to my phone and listen in while I’m driving. I’ve listened to all of the episodes and find myself looking for the new one each week. Good stuff, keep up the good work.

@70fj40 that is a fact. I only enjoy this listening thing in my pickup…a modern Chevy that is as quiet as any modern sedan. It’s usually just me so playing it thru the radio works well, no one to complain

That is a HUGE payday for me. Sometimes I wonder if it is meaningful for anyone.

Dan … Dan… Dan,

While true we haven’t met face to face (yet), I do think I can say this as a virtual friend - and definitely would face to face.

I think all the listens you can see on Spotify, all the comments, on this threads, all the likes speak to the impact you have.

Your creation impacts me routinely- as simple as a cup of coffee from your merch and reminds me of the various people on your show. It reminds me of the connected tissue called Land Cruisers that you help extend that connection.

Point is, you plant seeds of trees you will never see grow.

This week I cross the other ocean and speak with @flx about his 74 stock 40 and his recent epic trip through Morocco.

This was taken at our meet up in Paris a couple years ago.

(You may have noticed that it shows like 6 minutes. I have deleted that one and corrected it but the new link is up and ready to go)
