No fire yet, although Clyde ran pretty darn rough today after starting, lots of surging then would die as soon as I let off throttle.

Throttle cable sticking pretty good but even with me revving at carb it ran purty rough. Small discharge noted on ammeter when key turned on so something changed.

With holidays gonna take a look at it Saturday.

Heard change in engine sound while driving Clyde earlier this week. Took off to town, still something doesn’t sound right so stopped at gate, popped hood and noticed harmonic dampener has decent wobble in it.

I’m sure this can’t be good or maybe not terrible.

Trying to attach video but having technical issues.

Hopefully the keyway in the crank isn’t damaged. I was able to fix a damaged keyway on my old 2f with some crazy Loctite products that secured the key in crank despite the damage.

Is it a double-groove harmonic balancer?

Haven’t seen triple groove but that’s what it looks like. Set up for AC, PS, is this right? I haven’t had cruiser with AC before.

Would have been nice to have this happen little while after Christmas!

The search begins…

Sent Valley Hydrids email, seeing if they have one or where I can safely source one.

Onur though Kurt may have some but didn’t see any on website but need to look with iPad instead of phone.

I've not had a 'Cruiser with A/C before, do FJ60s have the 3-groove HB?
Sometimes, if you ask @cruiseroutfit nicely he'll look on the shelf for you...
Read that 3FE can likely be used just need to change belt sizes. Just got done emailing Kurt also.

My rebuilt 2F going in the 40 sometime came out of a 60, going to unwrap it tomorrow. How nice would that be??

Would have been nice but no luck, just checked and it’s a double.

Jon, I have one from a 60. I’m building the 2F from that 60 for my 45, so I need to make sure a double balancer will work with that 2F with PS but no AC before I can sell. Hopefully, you can find one sooner.

Is it coming apart at the rubber or is it wobbling on the crank?
@J Mack not sire where the wobble is coming from. Where it attaches to crank or the rubber. Before I do some more investigating gonna keep belts on it to load on trailer and stage in shop where we are doing the body swap.

Send me the video and I'll try to help..
Loose bolts best case..

OK looking at the video the part behind the pully has the wobble, I'm assuming that is part of the balancer. Hope a Toyota guy can tell us for sure.

Looking at the internet a crankshaft pulley for a 2F 13470-61010 goes on the crank and looks like it's riveted together.

So do you have a center bolt you can feel going into the crank?
