Glad that I can contribute to this epic build.... excited to get my hands dirty as well.

Wheels blasted, getting checked for straight and true before paint. Doors blasted going into epoxy. Battery tray issue figured out. The older 64 battery tray holder wouldn't clear the new fenders but a 78 battery tray holder fits. Glad we have an extensive parts pile.

Another day of progress. Doesn't appear as productive as most but it is all in the details now. Dropped a batch of unobtanium at the platers Fri. Found a 1f air cleaner in my stash we hope should work. If not a 2f aircleaner will suffice but not get the old school vibe we're going for. The boss brought lunch again! Front marker lights, new rag joint, new dash plaque, new shifter ball. Noodles on exhaust options. Measured for driveshafts. Figured out vacuum 4wd mechanism. Figured out pinion flanges and noticed that apparently Chef and I build a rear disk brake axle and did not notice the pinion has horrible preload and bearing wear. Booster and proportion valve mocked up.

Getting there! Doors should be in paint this week. Thought I could leave with a short list but it seems to be the longest list of stuff to find yet!

Tasked body shop guru with reproducing a missing piece of the puzzle. He never disappoints! One is my original left for a template, one is a reproduction. Dash vent located at bottom of windshield frame, inside to direct defrost to the desired area.. You can see my original stacked under the reproduction. The flat one is prior to shaping.
