Way to project manage, Erik!

Inside tailgate done with Al's tinted bedliner. Should be ready to install Saturday. Accessories that will be pewter are being put in epoxy now. I dropped off 2 OEM side rear view mirrors and had the body shop guy prep to install a passenger side mirror assembly. The tack welded plate with 2 nuts will go inside the body on the pass side to mount the second mirror. Pewter to fly soon!

We have Pewter.. Not all but most of it.. The OEM Mirror arms i pulled out of my stash are painted, roof latches, door catches (they were a weird color so had him paint them), glove box door, Drivers seat trim panel, grab handle and newer extended rear view mirror arm. Stock rear view mirror arm was a direct view of the top of the roof, this one is a bit lower to allow one to actually see out the back.
Rear hardtop glass is out for delivery via FedEx .. www.onedayglass.com ordered 3 to split shipping up.

Hope to have all the glass in the cab and hardtop assembled by Saturday evening. Rear cab roof to tub gasket arrived yesterday. For some reason we were missing one of the 3 gaskets and I didn't feel that my leftover, dirty, old gasket would do for this build.. And i needed a new one for my project so easiest to just split shipping up! Ordering a 4core radiator, Koito headlights, gas cap, front emblem, and some stuff for my build today from Toyota.
Should have seat frames and front bumper in paint later this week. Those are not mission critical to assembly of the hardtop. OME Lift kit to replace the TIC Parabolics that didn't work out should be delivered in Columbia Thurs. @theSherpa will be doing minor surgery to remove some leaves prior to install.
And for some reason our older new in the package OME bushings turned to dust.. New springs will solve that prob. Still need to order new OME shock bushings. I found one kit but we need another. Will order those later after i figure out stuff like steering coupler and prop valve for the brakes.

are you keeping a list of all the painted parts, so we can make sure we have them all for rig #2 and #3?

More pewter flying . 4plus bumper resprayed to pewter to match the period. Seats got some love. These were salvaged from @Waggoner5 years ago on a roadtrip back from the roundup. Not a full redo on the seats but a bit of paint and they look great.

@theSherpa is doing surgery now on the springs @wngrog. He mentioned the rears are a bit heavier than expected.

yeah; the bed weighs almost nothing, the tub too really. taling three out might not be a bad idea, but maybe double check with kurt

Well it’s not my style or in my interest to pass out bad tech so here are some pics of 3 leafs removed. The red one has full weight on

Nolen, what did you end up with on the rear packs? We have CS003R, which is heavy, pulling third leaf down (top full length leaf) makes it medium...did you go softer? If so, which leaf did you pull? On the front I pulled one full length leaf from CS002F to make a heavy into a medium, which sounds right with 8274 and bumper, and fronts have two full length leaves do it could go light in an obvious way, but rear don’t have two full lengths to pull, so...curious if you’ve found it worthwhile to go lighter than medium in the rear. My FJ60 is light front and rear and works nice, hence the line of questioning 😝
TIA!
Steve

Yeah. Unreal. 99# each. I dissected the s*** out of mine and the ones on the 64 SWB I did.
