The top's vinyl, not canvas...doesn't seem like it would need wax, except for maybe seams?

ahhh your good to go...

you should try useing a sylicone based waterproofer for the vinyl because it will help perserve the threads... Like 303 Protectant... Ehsans tops had problems with threading deteriating and coming undone

I believe Cygnus white T-12 or T302 shell-ivory, course there are debates on this subject. LOTS and LOTS of discussion..

Don't need a top and bezel to start wiring tho! and don't worry about any thread issues on the top.. if it starts to show wear and tear i'll just restitch. I have UV stable thread at the house. I have T90, I know Supertop uses T135.. Which we can easily get. ANd you really don't need to pay much attention to all that just when it goes i can redo..

Whatever you do have ed keep the color code please. OR.. I can bring my bezel and he can shoot 2 at once?

When I got divorced, it was a pile of parts;
some were primered :^p

the lawyers looked at it and laughed about it's value: hahahahahaha! :D

that's funny! I keep telling Esther how much stuff is worth she just rolls her eyes.

Well. Picked Chef up at the airport. Hoping the truck might be in paint. Not yet. But did get a quick pick.

Progress Report:
Erik and I tore down a rear axle. It'll get new wheel bearings, new axle and pinion seals, rear disc brackets and such after I clean it all up and shoot it.
We scoured the shop and put all the crazy-hard-to-find parts we could find onto one shelf.
OEM mud flaps, vent window rubbers, hood t-birds and such.
Eventually, when I have a truck to assemble, this will speed things some.

I think I need a windshield fresh air vent actuator knob; but I do now have very decent fresh screens, and, I found a new freakin' gasket for the whole fresh air assembly. Which is nice.

I also found a 1978 throttle linkage assembly I needed, and, all the transfer vacuum shift stuff I need. I think.
