Hello guys, I am changing my oil and bought a Toyota oil filter 90915-YZZD3 and it is tiny compared to the Napa 21515 filter. The Napa filter looks like it goes on a Caterpillar bulldozer and the Toyota is literally "cute" next to it.
The seal looks to match but the capacity is way different.
Country boy sense tells me I want the giant filter, but is the little one sufficient and good to go?
Napa closes at 8 PM.

Thanks

Antoine

I prefer the larger filters (I use Napa Gold, made by Wix), but filter media technology has come a long way over the years. Maybe the smaller ones are just as good now?

Run it; you will be fine.

Get the larger one next time if you want.

:meh:

Depends on the context of the question: Women (not so much) Whitetail Bucks (Yes) Paychecks (Yes) Debt (Heck No)Etc....

I’m using the small one. It does look odd, but what the hey . . . . .

My 100 series with 4.7L V8 and 7.2 quarts of oil uses the same filter. It has 182k and still runs great. Any quality filter will be fine. Just change your oil when it starts to darken up.
