Selling my 60 to help fund some other projects. 328,000 miles on a strong running,de-smogged 2f motor. Month of manufacture is Feb. Compression numbers taken last year were all within 145-160. I wrote them down and will try to find it in my paperwork. Tons of work done in the ~3 years I have owned it. Bought it completely stock from a guy in Washington state. It lived most of its life in Oregon. I have only put about 7k miles on it since I’ve owned it. New water pump, ac compressor and ac dryer. Blows cold and heat is hot. Little to no rust on the body and just surface rust on rear frame rails around the c-channels, I have the Trail-Tailor c-channel replacements that I will include as well. @CenTXFJ60 did the H55 5 speed conversion and Rear main seal (and a lot more lol) that was done within the last 2k miles. Sound deadening throughout tub and doors, new carpet, beautiful dash with one tiny crack at windshield behind gauge cluster, not noticeable. Drip rails done a couple years ago. Previous owner had an incident with some snow chains coming loose and damaging the body around the wheel wells. OME suspension and steering stabilizer. BFG tires with only around 5k miles on them. Cruiser Trash cargo panels and tailgate panel. Oil pan gasket recently done with transmission conversion. I also have a brand new OEM side cover gasket. Valves adjusted last year. Starts right up, no smoke and idles around 700. Very quiet inside the cab for its age. Drives comfortably at 70-75 at around 2600-2800 rpms. It’s a great truck and it’s ready to go. Awning and attachable room and Thule bars included. I have a ton of extra parts and all paper work that will go with the truck. Clean title. There is a ton of other stuff like upgraded Koito headlights, alternator, City Racer carb (I will include the original Aisin as well with a Keyster rebuild kit), new coolant hoses and OEM hose clamps, rebuilt and balanced drive shafts, all gear oils recently changed, knuckles rebuilt about 5k miles ago, just a bunch of miscellaneous things that will be reflected in the receipts and paper work. The seat covers on the front seats can easily be removed, I just had them on to help protect the seats which are in excellent condition, one small tear in the drivers seat on the vinyl section, not in the fabric. New plugs, and plug wires, new starter, new battery and terminals. 4 brand new keys. I’m sure I’m forgetting some things. Again, this truck is ready to go for years without doing much of anything. Would be a great rig for someone getting into a 60. $17,500 OBO

I can 100% vouch for this truck and the seller. I’ve helped Daniel with a bunch of improvements on this 60 and glad to answer any questions you may have. This truck runs awesome and with the mileage I’m confident it’s been rebuilt or at a min the head was redone. I helped with collecting the compression #’s and could not believe how good they are. All the upgrades are spot on leaving an untouched body for the new owner so they know exactly what they are getting. I’d run it as is or it’s a great candidate for a respray if you want to take it to the next level.

@CenTXFJ60 Thanks for the kind words Jimmy. Thanks for all the great knowledge, advice and guidance. I appreciate you for getting your hands dirty with putting some great upgrades into this rig. You played such a huge part in getting this thing to where it is now and I’m forever grateful. It will make a great truck for someone and that person can enjoy it immediately. Bitter sweet for sure

How would this be as a daily driver ? All flat roads in southwest Florida. 40 miles a day 5 days a week. 60 mph cruising.
@LETSROLLEM will confirm, but I can tell you it will be great. Still has the factory 3:70's giving you the overdrive...and with flatter roads in FL there's no downside. Daniel and I live in the TX Hill Country and I've owned a 60 with this exact set up (H55/3:70 & 33" tires) and it was still a joy to drive.

Very tempting. Looking up enclosed shipping costs to Florida now.

Hi , not sure if this was covered already, so sorry if it was....... but do you have the smog equipment still? California inquiry lol

Beautiful truck!

Yes I have the smog stuff, except the air rail, it was damaged during removal

Smog stuff possibly spoken for. Also, in case anyone was wondering about the “FILTER” light on the dash. I bought a used bezel from a MUD member that had a 61 (I think). Mine had a few minor cracks where the screws were tightened too much and did the usual cracking in those spots. I just overlooked the “FILTER” light on install and was too lazy to pull it off again so I just left it. I will include the old one with the original blank plug for the filter slot.

Just wanted to add a couple things that I have remembered over the last few days. It has 1.25” SpiderTrax wheel spacers on all 4 wheels. Pushes the wheels out even with the fender, just liked the stance with them on. They can easily be removed, I had no issues at all, although I know others have. Also I removed the front seat blanket covers to show the fabric on the front seats. I misrepresented the condition of the drivers seat fabric. It must have slightly worn through while I have had the cover in the drivers seat. Apologies

Having owned three fj60’s, this is a very nice set up. Someone will love it with the 5 speed and good compression numbers! GLWS!

when you did the h55, did you re sealed the t case or rebuilt it completely with new bearings ?
My son is looking for 60 and wondering if this will have no issues driving it back to NY ?
Will talk to my kid about this …. @TheCarMaster40 this 60 seems like a great truck for you ?

T case was rebuilt at the time of the H55 install. I have an invoice I can send to anyone interested showing the H55 install and t case rebuild along with several other things done at the same time
