I just came across this link for the Jeep Cherokee A-Pillar. Looks interesting: http://www.detoursusa.com/a-pillar-brackets.php

except for the whole drill three holes in your a-pillar thing.

You could always use jb weld, duct tape, and our bailing wire. Jk

Zip ties would be cleaner.

Ok guys so here's what I just came up with, I think this is as good as it's going to get. If you need anymore angles or have questions let me know.

PM me if you are interested in purchasing this product, I will do a group buy discount.

by tomorrow I should have a bracket you can mount 2 lights on top of each other, also developing one where you are mount a 40" light bar across your hood.

-This mounts to the hood hinge so you will not need to drill any holes or need any hardware.
- Built out of 1/8" aluminum, does not rust, doesn't need paint or powder coat, but I can definitely paint it or have it powder coated.
- I was doing 50mph with no noticeable wind noise.
- It sits flat over the hood because I bent the lines very carefully to achieve this.
- There was very very minimal vibration when I went over a few pot holes at 50mph

- WIRING: I tested the wires, i put the wire from the light under the hood, closed it up and it does not pinch the wire. You can run your wires under the hood without issues.

Guess I'll have to change my design. Lol

dammit. now I want a pair of those!!!!

shut up and hurry up and make it so you can take my money!!

socal....he already made it.....i just talked to him and he can ship in a week....socal where r u...so i can give you my money!! i need these quick....plus he can make bracket for my 40" rigid! along with these for the duallys

3/16" would be better if aluminum. Once the truck gets bouncing over rocks and washboard the 1/8" is going to want to bend with it cantilevered with weight.

If you are crawling or driving at 15-20mph off-road, it's not going anywhere. Come by my shop and check it out for yourself, it will not budge at all. I think 3/16" will have a problem with the hood, there isn't too much room in there.

I never committed to manufacture because my goal of 20 minimum orders hasn't been satisfied. So cal is obviously anxious to make some sales, and his design is almost exactly what I had in mind, and on paper. It looks like a good product, and I think it'll suffice the majority of those interested.

I have no ill feelings for anyone trying to better themselves, especially if they're willing to work to make it happen! I wish him the best of luck!

Dale,
When Jose opened this thread, I messaged him about 2 minutes later with plans of making a couple prototypes. I had plans all drawn in my immediately after I talked to Jose, I also have plans of making several different mounts. I have two prototypes done, I liked this one a lot more so I mounted it for show and tell, the second prototype is all cut out and ready to go as well

I was considering another as well. Which would be mounted between the fender, and a pillar.

I hope you're not reading more into this than face value. I meant what I said. I'm not begrudging you.
This isn't a competition, it was an attempt to meet the needs of others, and it looks as though those needs will be met quickly, and satisfactorily.
I will say no more concerning this subject.

Regards, Dale
