Can somebody make these for the 80?

Not to c*block, but why not just install a police style spotlight. Those are really cool. Pat

I thought about installing those when I bought my truck but then read a thread about a guy who drilled through the wire harness in his A pillar which messed up his sun roof controls. I like this option better.

I like that, simple and solid. Wondering about the glare, have you turned them on yet?

I haven't turned them on yet, I didn't have too much time today also had my baby at the shop while I was working on this. I had the idea that these lights are meant to be pointed to the side so didn't think about glare.

Good point. The side is exactly where I need something like this. I'm in!

Man that is a really slick mount! I think a lot of people will like that one. But I've wheeled in trails that have almost torn off my mirror. How far does the light stick out when the mirror is folded? And I'm guessing you can't fold the mirror forward with the bracket right? I may have to go with your earlier style.

This trail is the one that almost tore off my mirrors on the dirt walls. Look at how tippy the trucks in front of me where. I don't think the lights would survive in places like this

Jose, just went down to double check the answer to your question. With the mirror folded, it's about the same as the mirror but there's still 3/4" to 1/2" left. You are correct, the mirror can not be folded forward.

I can make the mounting hole adjustable so you can slide it side to side. The black hole is the current one I have, the red one is an option if preferred.

That's great for a GoPro camera too. Won't need to use a remote either.

Doesn't look like it will work with a snorkel.

. There's always the other option for snorkels assuming he will produce both. But I'm gonna say SoCal take my money for the mirror mount. When can these go into production?

It might work with a snorkel if you make the extended version.

Looks like my response didn't go through, can someone with a snorkel take a side view photo of the snorkel and mirror? If you are an over achiever, you can grab your tape measure and measure it up for me, I don't have a snorkel yet. Thank You!

I can produce all 3 types if there are enough interests.

Like the idea but not sure if I'd buy or not yet. I'll take pictures... with tape measure for extra credit

Thanks bmac, you get a star and rainbow for your extra credit :D

After some thoughts, I decided to go with anodizing the brackets. Powder coating on aluminum doesn't make sense and it add thickness and the same thought with painting. I will do type 2 anodizing black on black for longevity against UV damage, I can get other colors but that will cost a bit more and a minimal of 25 sets per color.
