If you want to increase your oil capacity with the shallower pan unbolt the cover that looks like a place for a dip stick, use oil cooler lines for a 3/4 ton and mount an oil cooler up front. Simple and the lines are about $40 aftermarket.

Some good news today. I finally got my shifter and motor mounts.

I also found the source of the ball bearings - my sh!tty creeper caster wheels. Whew!

The bad news:
AA is out of adapter output shafts right now, so I won't see the adapter for a few weeks to a month.

The shifter feels like a quality piece. The shifter knob is aluminum. These have been on back order too. This just got anodized yesterday and shipped immediately.

Here's the shift button...

Park/neutral safety switch so I don't start it in gear...

I picked this shifter because, at first glance, it will look like I still have the H55.

From what I understand, they manufacture everything.

I heard that they were tooled up for a big run of Atlas's or Orions right now. So we have to wait for them to finish that.

Updates:

I ordered my wiring harness today. I'll ship out my computer to be re-flashed next week.

Following a hot tip in another thread, I called AA about the split case adapter. It seems they've found a spud shaft from another kit that they can substitute (with minor modifications) and get these out the door. These are supposed to ship out next week.

Ok when does this dog and pony show kick off...? ready to hear / see the v8 running :)

I think the GM v8 and matching GM transmission will be incredible... I've thought about jumping ship into that configuration many times..

Is it done yet?

Done. Just burned through a set of rear tires doing burnouts.

I'm sending mine to you for the same treatment.
